Sorry I haven't updated in like 2 months but don't worry I'm gonna give some extra long chapters because I feel bad.

Hey Howard here. What are you surprised? I wasn't gonna let my sister ramble on much longer that would've been awful! Oh and thanks sis, that's so nice of you to just end leaving everyone in suspense like that! it makes it terrible trying to tell MY side of the story! Anyways, let's get started.

Once we had arrived in the strange dimension my dear, loved, (hated) sister did the stupid thing and stepped on a dais. Then there was the whole light thing that she already told you about. Well then two girls ran in who you already know, Skylar and Hazel. They had spoken of some threat which made me worried. I know what your thinking why should I be worried, I can handle my self and so can my sisters. Well even though I know they can handle themselves I'm still the oldest and I care for my sisters a lot!

Anyway, after all of that we started at the magic academy. Oh and whatever Lo and Hazel are saying I'm NOT dating Skylar! Do I like her? Well, maybe. [Oh shut up, Lo!] Um back to the story.

It's the finale day of school and I'm scared! see the thing is when you get on the dais on the last day it tells you your path. What do you mean by path, you ask? Well, your path is basically what magic style and/or your element. The thing is in each "class" there can only be two people with a certain element and/or magic style. The thing is though if you are the third you are either sent back to school or you disappear from your very spot on the dais. Oh and did I mention your never seen again.

I step on the dais and look over my shoulder to see my friends being reinsuring. I see Sky giving me the thumbs up same as Hazel. While my two sisters were simply smiling also Lo was using her left hand and making a 'go on' gesture. I chuckle at my brown-haired counterpart. Suddenly my eyes are glued to symbols on the dais as I am being raised into the air with a purple light surrounding and blinding me. I already knew what I was, that made me very scared.

See there's a color that represents every magic style and element. Purple represents charms. And I wasn't scared because anybody else already had it. I was scared because I learned about the magic style of charms and (even though you might doubt it) it's one of the rarest magic styles because it was forbidden to be wielded. So if that was your path you better hope not to be killed.

Once I stepped off the dais everyone was staring at me, in fear. Well not everyone. My two sisters were jumping and pumping their fists in the air and shouting praises I could tell already that Lotus, my rough sister, was smiling with pride. I couldn't help but smile, too. My sisters' loud praises were silenced as The Lord put up his hand for quiet. Then he gestured to Lotus Jade, my sister.

I could tell she was nervous by the way she walked up. Typically she struts knowing that she's confident in her self but today she gingerly stepped toward the dais as if it might hurt her. Her eyes looked up and caught mine. I knew it then, she felt something off like she knew there was danger. I gave her an encouraging nod and she stepped on the dais. It was just like when we first arrived, a blinding white light and the arrow spinning out of control. Then I saw the star shining brightly above her head. That's when that snake came.

A serpent that looked like it was made of pure energy rather than scales. It's shiny body matched the color of my sister's power. It wrapped it self around her body till it's head touched the star above her. The dais came down and there was my sister, one of the strongest people I've ever met, collapsed in a heap of power and a snake. I ran to her.

"Lotus!" I shouted as reached down to check her pulse.

"Howard?" she asked wearily, "What happened? All I remember was a snake and-"

She was cut off when she saw the reptile who had once just been a mass of energy solidify into a real, live anaconda. Lotus just screamed. He was confused, his sister was never afraid of snakes but then he saw it was still rapped around her body. The snake was trying to untangle itself from the girl while she was doing the same. The only thing they accomplished was becoming an even bigger mess.

"Oh dear sis, you never were good at knots," I laughed.

She scowled, "Oh shut it, already!"

After the snake and Lotus were fully detangled we looked up to see The Lord.

"So it's true. She is the one..." he shuddered, "Which means it will soon be time for our enemy to come." he sighed as if those few words had aged him a life time.

I helped my sister and Winter ran over.

"Lotus Jade! I thought... I-I..." she stuttered through tears.

I brought them all into a big hug when we all felt scales hugging us, too. we looked down to see the snake smiling, I think. Then we just laughed. we saw everyone looking at us strangely, but we didn't mind. Who could blame them, though? We are having a group hug with a snake.

"Thank you for that beautiful display of affection, but it is Winter's turn." Lord smiled then gestured for our youngest sibling to stand.

Winter walked wearily to the dais where moments be for she saw her only sister collapse. She took a shaky breath before standing to face the Council. A sky blue surrounded her in a watery cascade. The problem was it quickly disappeared to be a pale green, the color of the forest. And once again it changed to a bright yellow the color for the sun.

I could tell everyone else, besides the councilors, had no idea what that meant, but Lotus and I looked each other in the eyes and muttered so that no one else would here, "Healer." They know that their sister has the heart of a healer, personality brighter than the sun, spirit stronger than a roaring river, and she's stronger than the thickest oak in the forest. And I'm not even kidding.

Winter came down from the dais in a daze.

"Umm hi. So healer, is that what I heard you two mutter?" she asked under breath that way no one would here.

We nodded our heads slowly and ever so slightly that way no one would notice.

"Another rarity. They must be the children that the elder foretold about so then they must also-" another one of councilors shouted in glee.

"Hush now. We don't want to scare them." The Lord interrupted.

All three of us looked questioningly at the council when The Lord spoke again, "Now that every one is decided on their paths you must start training with your age and the others following the same path as you, including the ones from other classes. You five stay." he barked while pointing at Sky, Haze, Lo, Winny, and Howie.

We all looked at each other a bit scared. Then the worst news ever, came. At least to me it was the worst news ever.
