I was never scary or fearsome, but I knew how to be. I was ahead when it came to knowledge. I knew how to be scary, but my appearance threw it all off. For example, go ahead and picture a  monster in your head, it either has spikey something or abnormal count of some body part, right? Well after I describe what others say I look like, you'll see that I don't look like other monsters. Other monsters have sharp claws, spikey teeth, multiple eyes, etc. Other monsters worry about being scary or not. I guess I'm a mistake, as others say, because I'm not scary, nor am I worried about being scary.

No one's really sure how I was created, well, except my parents. Some say that I'm the product of a random trick of nature, others say that I'm a scientific experiment. I think I know, but, my parents wouldn't tell me. However, one of my parents was forever banned from Monsterville. I asked mother before over and over again why he was banned. I just couldn't see why she didn't answer me. The last time I asked, she whispered in my ear, "Because he's a human." I'm pretty sure either my heart stopped or I fainted when I heard those words come out of my mother's mouth. When I was able to cause movement again I didn't move one muscle, not even my heart or lungs. I suddenly came to the realization that, "I'm an outlaw, I'm the one they're looking for!" With that sentence repeating over and over again in my head, I got the idea of finding my father and living with him. I would have peace, and no more little monsters making fun of me daily.... On the other hand, overall the monster patrol wouldn't take it too well.... They would probably want to, I don't know ... Let's just go with either kill me or enslave and sell me, then kill me... The point is that it's not going to be an exciting or enjoyable outcome.
I have tried to escape before, but, my own mother, of all monsters, caught me. I'm glad she did because she told me something that was life-changing. She showed me an active map, it showed things umm..well... Actively. I guess it's pretty self-explanatory anyway, what was I talking about?...oh...yes...
Mother pointed to a dark and gloomy place on the map, it had dark clouds swirling although there was no storm. I was mesmorized by the swirling clouds when Mother said this area is Monsterville. I was very confused because in contrast to all the other places on the map, which were lightened with stars on poles, (poor stars😞). Our town, Monsterville, was the only town that didn't capture stars. When I told mother my observation she explained that they were just lights on, not stars. Powering the lights was something called electricity. She explained that we're the only civilization that doesn't use lights, along with not having schools, outside of classes for just learning how to be basically scary. In essence basic knowledge on being a monster.... Any ways, we also don't have monsters called meteorologists. (big word right?) Later, she and I were talking about where dad lived. She was also explaining something called a cartoon, then something called the news after all of that she explained that the meteorologist are workers for the news and videotaped by cameras and put on a t.v. which stands for tele-vision whith all this unfamiliar information I was lost. I couldn't make out the rest of what my mother was saying. When she gasped, and a man's voice said, "lights out squirt."

I woke up in a room with my hands tied behind me and my legs tied to the chair and there was a bright light shining in my face.
He said "You thought could getaway didn't you OUTLAW.," he said those words almost in discuss

So , you think I don't know that you not really Pete Fisher your really Josè Rockenson. I should have known better to blurt that out like that but, it's already too late to take it back now so, my fingers were crossed.
He let out a deep sigh and stammered,
"H-ho-how did you know?"
"I stay hidden, so I kind of like to see if I'm the only one in the shadows." I replied.
"Well d-do you k-kn-know m-my history?" The general asked. At this point it was hard to understand what he was saying. "Yes I know your history, but I won't give it away unless ..." I said.
"Unless what?" He asked
"Unless you tell the rest of your team where I'm at."
"Mmmm..what hard decisions, do it the legal way or the illegal. Mmm.....Okay, deal." The general finally concedes.

"Oh no. oh no. oh no."
He started to mumble.
"Zofubdrhvdtubgdurh."
Or something like that.
There was a moment of silence then all of a sudden he jerked my arm, "Let's go!" He shouted. "Where?!" I cried. "You'll find out." Was his cryptic response.
