Before I moved to Korea, the word kpop wasn't even being heard. No one knew what it was and little did I know it was one day going to be one of the most talked about things. So, how did I discover this wonderful word?? Bigbang was the start of every dream I had from that point on and me being obsessed with kpop. This is what kept me going. I am for a fact Korean but I was born in somewhere called San Diego California. My name is Erina, I currently live in Seoul, south korea and I'm 18.
~3 months later~
We finally got off the plane after hours of unbearable babies crying and kids who can't sit still for more than 20 minutes. I walked down the steps and went to grab my things. I had no trouble spotting mine because its a yellow suitcase with plenty of different stickers located on it. After i grabbed my suitcase, i bumped into someone. A deep and handsome voice responded.
" sorry, are you okay?" he said.
I slowly turned my head around to spot whoever it was. There stood a tall figure, with black hair and great body. He was more handsome than he sounded and looked like he just walked out of some great anime. I couldn't stop myself from starring at him and by the time I realized it, it was to late to make myself look good. I tried the best I could to talk, but his eyes seemed to be digging into my head.
"uh.....umm.... Yea, I'm ....I'm okay" I said.
"that's good.... I'm jungkook" he laughed.
"I'm Erina" I said.
" you have a beautiful name"
" oh...um.. Thanks" I shuddered. I couldn't ruin this more than I already have, it was bad enough I bumped into him and now I can't even speak English correctly.
"So, is this your first time to Korea?" Jungkook asked me.
" I've visited once before but I'm moving here now, I'm staying at an apartment in Seoul"
" oh really? I am too"
Suddenly my phone starts to ring, perfect timing might i add. I take it out my pocket and answer it. I mouthed the words 'sorry' and walked away.
- On phone-
"Hello?" I said.
" Taeyung just called me about dance and voice training, he said you would have to start next week on monday"
The person on the phone was no one other then my best friend who acts like she's my manager. I don't blame her of course because I know she's just watching our for me just like any other good friend would. What she's talking about is about something I only dreamed of doing, becoming a kpop star. She's the only person I told and now is going crazy over it like it was some lottery she was going to win. If anybody should act like that its me. I'm excited for Monday but of course but when doing anything this important you're going to be nervous even if you don't want to admit it.
" Did he say what time?" I asked
" Yeah, vocals is 10:00 music start at 11:00am and dance starts at 12:00am. Lucky for you the buildings there in arent that far apart."
" Thank you so much! Make sure you come on Monday, I'm gonna need moral support" I laughed
" No problem but I know you can do it, you're the most determined person I know"
" Always have been. Listen I got to go before it gets to late, I'll talk to you later"
"okay. Love you bestie"she said.
"okay, bye"
You may be saying "oh she didn't say I love you back to her friend"... Well that's because Last time I said that to someone it was my boyfriend and something bad happened, so I'd rather not relive those days. That story is for some other time, but not today....
To be continued...
Authors note: I hope you enjoyed the first chapter, this is gonna be my first book and ill do alot more soon....sorry for any grammar errors.
