"Park Ji...WTF!!!" was the only thing he managed to say
"I'm sorry, i'll explain, let's just go to another place"
"you better explain you freak" he mumbled clearly upset
"what?"
"YOUR HAIR..it's different" said Tae trying to cover what he had just said
"oh, yeah. it's..because of work.."
The car became silent as they drove off.
Couple minutes later they arrived to a cafe..almost empty
They both got in and seated as they were greeted by a waitress "Hey, Chim!"
"Hey, Yui. The usual for me, aaand.." looked at Taehyung "coffee?"
Taehyung still didn't understand a thing about what was happening
"yeah.." he answered
"okeeey, i'll be back" she smiled and left with the order
"Hey..ugh..listen. I'm sorry if i startled you" Jimin started talking to Tae, who looked angry and confused
"What are we doing here? Why is this happening? I only wanted an autograph, not to be kidnapped by a famous actor"
"Kidnapped?" Jiming laughed at Tae's words "I'm sorry. I only wanted to meet with you. I'm really thankful for what you did yesterday"
"Then why didnt you just send me a letter, or..i dont even know! This is not what Mr. Choi and i spoke about last night!"
"Yeah..about that.." Jimin looked away scratching the back of his neck..
"There's no Mr. Choi, is there?" said Taehyung wearing his best poker face
"..no..sorry" he chuckled "Look, thruth is, i wanted to thank you in person, but my manager is sort of a control freak and won't let me get close to anyone"
Tae was still uncomfortable, but was beginning to understand his reasons.
"There you go, Chim" said the waitress placing a strawberry sundae on the table
"..aand coffee for you. Let me know if you need anything else" she smiles and left again. Tae looked at the way Jimin stared at the ice cream, thinking how he didn't expect that..he looked..kind of childish. but sometimes could be childish himself
"Chim?" he finally asked
"oh" Jimin chuckled "yeah is a family nickname"
"So are you guys relatives?"
"not really..but we do know each other since we were kids. this is the only place i can run to sometimes when i feel overwhelmed.." Jimin explained while Tae sipped his coffee..
"Anyway, you mentioned an autograph?" asked Jimin while he started to eat his ice cream
"It's for my mom" said Tae putting down his mug "she's really a fan"
"Sure thing" Jimin smiled
everything went silent again..
Tae didn't like the way things went down, of course, but he was starting to feel comfortable. This Park Jimin didnt seem like a bad person, more like lonely
"Listen.." Tae said "i..."
But he got cut by Jimin "yes..i know. i'm really sorry about all this. i'll take you back right now"
he was trying to avoid eye contact. he looked sad as he thought their time was over
"Actually..i wouldn't mind talking a bit more..you seem like you could really use it"
Jimin lifted his face, flashing Tae a smile
that made his heart skip a beat. he felt so happy..
"what the fuck was that right now?" Tae thought surprised at his own reaction "...i know he has a lot of fangirls..i can see why" he thought
