That's Aspen in the picture!
(aspens pov)
A little brunette girl with bright green eyes, a radiant face and a wide smile is walking through the outskirts of kremlin overlooking Moskva river licking an ice-cream cone, she looks so much at peace.
Just then a man walks behind her through the sidewalk and vigorously grabs her by the arm the girl is startled for a second but then her smile widens,
"what happened daddy?" she asks looking at the mans concerned face.
"what happened? penny we were looking for you everywhere....for once we thought we lost you" and the man hugs his little girl.
At a distance I see a lady running towards them with tears running down her cheeks and hugs the girl rather persuasively.
the lady speaks with a cracky voice
"aspen where did u go? we thought we lost you"
"mommy I was looking at the river isn't it beautiful?"
"it is indeed very pretty" the woman replies looking over at the Moskva river.
"but don't ever leave without telling me or dad, do you hear me penny?"
"okay mommy, but I'm not a little girl anymore I've grown up"
"you should grow up more young lady before you leave on your own" the lady replies with a smile
The lady looks over to her husband who was standing there a minute ago....he was gone.....gone without a trace..
I wake up with sweaty palms and forehead I don't want to see the rest of this nightmare....this nightmare manages to crawl into my head every single day. For the last 12 years this same horror keeps repeating and no amount of therapy or anti depressants worked.
Looking over kremlin with the cold wind blowing through my hair and licking that cold ice-cream.....That was the last time I ever saw my dad.
