        I woke up this morning and started to write in my journal, but nothing came to mind. My world for the past week has been bleak, dead. It's as if I have nothing to live for anymore.

        I got up and got dressed. I was wearing holey skinny jeans, black combat boots, and a purple long-sleeve sweater that hugged my body in all the right places.

        It's the first day of eleventh grade, at a new school. If you don't know my name, it's Logan Faith Ghoul. All I know about life right now is it goes on. It keeps going whether you want it to or not. Do not stay in one place in time, keep moving forward is what my father always tells me. If something happens, don't hang on every day, keep going on with your life.

        Sometimes people want the best of things, but can't always get them. Those people are the risk takers. They want what they can't have and do what they have to do get it. It doesn't always end well for them.

        I walked to school. It's late autumn here in Minnesota and the wind was chilly but refreshing. I went to my locker and opened it, put my stuff inside and looked up. To my surprise, I saw something completely gorgeous to my right. A boy.
