ALIA'S POV

It's a Friday night and we are loaded with homeworks and a lot of assignments. This is going to be a long weekend. I went to my locker to swap my second lecture books .

Xavier stood there against my locker. He was typing furiously in his phone. Well the person on the other side is in great shit.

As I reached the locker he wrapped his arm around me and a smell of wood and musk hit me. Soon I find myself sniffing him as my face is buried in his chest.

His chest vibrates as he chuckles. A throat clears behind us and I quickly jump apart from Xavier but he holds me sideways.

Asher stands there with Alessia by his side. He is glaring at Xavier.
" Asher, they are dating. You can't glare at him like this " Alessia says placing a hand on his arm. Asher does softens his posture slightly but his expression remains unchanged.

" You remember about the meeting right "
Xavier just nods his head , expression matching Asher's.

These guys are so extra, seriously. Like they give rivalry a whole new platform. I roll my eyes . I look over at Alessia with a look that says save me.

" Alia,  what do you think? Who is going to win today's battle? " she asks.
" Well,  undoubtedly it's Lucas and his band ".  I reply with a smirk on my face.
Likesville has a battle of bands between our school and some schools from the neighbouring towns , today after school.
We part our ways to our next class.

The day goes on slowly and finally it's the lunch time. As I enter the cafeteria, the smell of fries waltz to my nose. This place is heaven except for the inhabitants there of course.

I go to my friends to find every one sitting there and chatting animatedly about today's battle of bands. I sit besides Xavier as he gives me a huge smile .

"So Alia you are coming right? " Lucas asks while munching on some cookies Scar brought in her lunch box.
" Yes, couldn't miss it for the world. "

Suddenly the cafeteria goes silent as Cassandra walks in with her minions. Well long time no see.

" So , I see the screw up fairy has visited us again" I say mocking her.
She just glares at me and turns towards Asher.
" Asher, I thought you liked me but you... You chose this lame excuse of a girl over me. I mean look at me and then at her. "
She gets closer to Asher touching him on the shoulder.
" You know I can give you every thing that this bitch can't "

" I suggest you get your hands off my man, right now or else I will be more than happy to break it ". Alessia says standing up going close to Cassandra.

Asher sighs and pulls Alessia to his lap. He looks at Cassandra with a stern look
" You said to look at you and then at her.  You know what I see when I look at her!?
I see a girl with the most prettiest smile ever. The girl who is beautiful both inside and outside . The girl no matter what is hell bend on helping her friends. And most importantly she is the girl I love. " he is looking at Alessia with a soft look and Alessia's eyes glistened as her lips are gently parted,  not sure what to say.

On the other hand,  Cassandra is ready to explode. I swear I can see steam coming out of her ears.

"  So now it is settled that Asher doesn't likes you. He loves Alessia. So kindly keep your existence to yourself and don't bother us anymore in the future . " Olivia says casually looking at her with a bored expression.

"  By the way if it is hard for you to understand I'll simplify it for you. She meant you are not required to grace us with your unwanted presence anymore. "
Noah says mimicking it in a high pitched voice.
