•9.Just Shut Up•

I paced the room trying to figure out if I should tell Caleb what I was or not.

''I should tell him,'' I said heading for the door out of my room. ''But he might tell others,'' I said backing away from the door.  I shook my head and went out the door. I went to Caleb's office. I walked straight in and looked at Caleb. ''I need to talk to you,'' I said. He looked at the group he was with. You remember Jace and the gang and sadly, Paris.

''You should go, man, it looks important,'' Jace said looking from me to Caleb. He nodded and walked with me outside the office and shut the door. ''What is it.''  He said. ''I know what I am.'' I rushed out. His eyes got wide as he asked ''what are you?'' Is there any supernatural that is really rare to you?'' I asked.

''Well there are hybrids but I think they're extinct. Well, I hope they are they are the reasons we had the great war.'' He said. ''They are not extinct and I don't think these two hybrids are gonna bring a full-out war with them they are just trying to not get kidnapped.'' I said getting angry.''

He looked at me suspiciously. ''How do you know?'' He asked me getting closer.  I sighed. I know because I am one of those two rare powerful hybrids.'' I said. He looked at me for two minutes and then looked away and said '' I don't see it.'' I hit him in the back of his head and said '' Because this bracelet I got on my tenth birthday stopped me from shifting and growing fangs.''

''You have a werewolf and vampire blood?'' He asked. I nodded. ''Half and half,'' I said. He nodded and grabbed my hand. ''Come on we have to tell the guys.'' He said.  I shook my head and said ''What if Paris tells someone?'' He scoffed and said '' Then I will get him when the time comes okay?''

''Whatever,'' I mumbled.

AN HOUR LATER...(yes an hour.)

Silence.

That is all I hear two minutes after I explained everything. (Not including Ethan.) Paris was the first to talk. ''I don't believe you.'' He said. I looked at him and got a little bit closer. ''Are you a werewolf Paris?'' I asked. ''Duh.'' He said. ''So you've already shifted. Am I right?''  I asked. He nodded. ''Well try having the first birthday gift you get is having to shift and then growing fangs, your Blood practically battling each other, the pain just unbearable

You just want it to stop but can't, the one thing that stopped it from happening can't help you now so you just scream, The vampire side of you wants blood and tries to stop your heart while the werewolf side of you tries to better your body, trying to keep your heart beating and stop you from wanting blood, the werewolf side of you hating the vampire side of you making you feel even worse, while you're trying to shift you're also growing fangs and crave blood. When you realize your whole life is a lie when you go through that pain then tell me you don't believe me.'' I said and sat down in Caleb's chair while he sat on the desk.

Paris was quiet. ''That is what I thought,'' I said.

Suddenly, Gabriella perked up. ''wait I have a question.'' she said. ''What is it?'' I said. ''If you are one of the two powerful hybrids in the world, do you know the other one?'' she said. Everyone's eyes went from her to me.

I nodded, ''I do.'' I said. ''My aunt has been taken care of this person ever since they were a baby.'' I said.''My mom and dad and aunt helped him through his shift slash change and taught him how to hunt, control his cravings, and make spells.'' I said.

''Is it a boy?'' Caleb asked. ''Yes,'' I said. He turned to me. ''Your hiding something.'' He said. ''No, I'm not,'' I said. ''What is his name?'' Gabriella asked. ''I can't say,'' I said. ''Why not?'' Paris asked smirking. ''Just shut up Paris, you were nicer when you were quiet.'' I said. ''who said I was being nice?'' He said sarcastically. '' Exactly,'' I said and let him wonder what I just said.

''Just answer the question Melodi and they will lay off,'' Jace said. Heather nodded. ''I can't say his name because it's not my name to say,'' I said getting up from the desk. ''Why can't you just tell us who he is?'' Jace said looking intrigued. I went to the door when I heard a voice, ''She can't tell you because you won't like the name she says.''  I turned around and saw The same soft brown eyes that I saw that night. ''Ethan?'' I said.

''We meet again Caleb,'' Ethan said. ''Get out,'' Caleb said in what sounded like a growl. ''I can't because you see I need Melodi for a few minutes.'' He said.

''She is not going with you,'' Caleb growled getting closer.
