The day they died wrecked you. You used be such a happy girl but after your parents were murdered you changed. The man who killed your parents said he was a time traveler. You thought he was crazy. But now it doesn't seem so crazy.

Barry Allen is your best friend. Always has been. He was the one person there for you have your parents death but lately, he hasn't been around a lot.

He always cancels on movie night. He doesn't show up for work. He even stopped talking to you all together a few years back.

"Hey it's Barry. Sorry I can't get to the phone right now. Leave a message."

"Hey Barry. Look... I don't know what happened between us. I just want to know your okay. Uhm... Also my birthday is next week and I was wondering if you wanted to have a movie night with me? You don't have to but uhm... It's been almost 5 years Barr and I'd like to see you. Bye."

Right when you ends the call you get a text.

Barry. 5 years after vanishing he texts you.

Do you wanna hang out tonight? It's been too Long -B

Your breath caught in your throat.

Yea... Yea... My place? -(your initial)

Yea. I'll be there in 5. -B

You instantly jumped up and ran to your living room quickly cleaning up.

5 minutes later there's a knock at your door.

"Hey... Bar..." You look the man at your door and the first thing to come to your mind is that he's here to finish the job.  "What are you doing here?"

"What are you... Y/n its me Barry."

"You... You.... You're the man that killed my parents." You say backing away from the door as Barry in.

"y/n you need to calm down." You run to your couch and pull the gun from behind the cushion, pointing out at him. "Put the gun down, y/n." But you hold strong. Barry sighs. "I didn't want you to find out like this."

"So what were you gonna do? Get close to me? Make me care about you, then go back and kill my parents." You say, tears forming in your eyes.

"They were never the target y/n. Neither are you. Your parents werent supposed to die. But it happened. And I guess you deserve the truth."

Barry zooms away and returns in the suit of the man you've been hunting for the last 5 years.

"You're... You're...."

"The dark flash? Yea. Can't let a cop know my secret now." He flashes closer to you and phases a hand through your chest, stopping your heart, killing you. "You weren't the plan y/n but you would have prevented it from happening."
