Marsilia's p.o.v.

His arms were wrapped around me, almost protectively, but I sorta liked it. His breath tickled my neck as he placed a soft kiss to the revealed skin. We were at a fele, surrounded by family and friends and of course the whole town. I mean; it was the celebration of our newly found town.

"Miss.Marsilia; word is out the demons of blood are arriving tonight to crash the fele. I need you to run now, get as far away as you can." Caruis whispered in my ear before letting go of me and disappearing into the crowd.

Of course I had to listen to him, he's my love.

"If you'll excuse me please." I curtsied to everyone and headed for the front room.

I snuck out of the house without seeing anybody else who would question, or follow me. I got outside onto the mayors driveway no one was in sight, that's when I picked up my many skirts and ran. I didn't think twice of my family or friends, a very foolish move of me. I stopped half way through the dirt path to the main town, corsets aren't always a pleasant thing to wear. Yes, they make us ladies look more ravishing, but breathing is tough and we get winded quicker.

"Oh, mademoiselle where are you disappearing too? The fele is just beginning." I looked up to see a unnaturally handsome man in a black suit, who looked deathly familiar.

"I was just going, a bug in the stomach that's all, good night sir." I straightened my back and started to walk past the man.

"Oh you're not leaving, noone is Miss.Marsilia." That's when I spotted the faint streaks of blood on his chin.

I'm sorry Caruis my love, I couldn't escape the demons.
