I don't know what I've done to deserve this. Whatever asshole has put me here had better goddamn - oh who am I kidding? I'm not going to to anything to this guy, I'm pathetic. Now it's the part where you tell me I'm not, and that I'm stronger and smarter than everyone you know. Well, maybe just smarter, hah.

Mia, I... I'm so sorry for not knowing you weren't there. I went by your house with the soup. That goddamned soup. I spent two hours making it. I had to start again twice. Your parents just sat me down and told me that you were missing, and that you had been for two days. Two days. They said they didn't want to tell me before they were sure I was missing. So I guess they're sure now.
