"Logan why do you seem so irritated you have snapped my head off several times this week?" Odette asked Logan as they sat eating breakfast the day after Rory and Finns wedding. "I'm sorry Odette I don't mean to I just haven't had a good week at work." Logan lied. "Are you sure that's all it is you have been pushing Noah away a little bit as well, and that's unusal." Odette sounded worried. "I'm sorry I haven't meant to everything is okay I just got some news earlier in the week that bothered me." Logan admitted. "Is this about Finn marrying Rory?" Odette asked sounding hurt. "Oh god no Odette I'm happy they got married I'm glad she's moved on and is happy like I am. It's just have you ever regretted a decision you made even though you know you made the right decision?" Logan asked her honestly. "Well of course I have." She answered they sat there in silence watching Noah play for a little while. "Is this about Rory's twins?" Odette asked bluntly. "What?" Logan asked shocked. "Logan I'm not stupid those kids are yours. Did you know she was pregnant with your babies?" Odette asked softly. "Not until she was about 6 months pregnant a little before we found out about Noah. I told her to raise them by herself." Logan answered. "Well have you changed your mind do you want to be part of their lives?" She asked. "Not exactly I made a fool of myself, I got mad at Finn and Rory when I found out Finn will be adopting the twins. I'm not even sure why I got so mad." Logan admitted. "Well do you still have feelings for Rory?" She asked. "No Odette, I miss her and Finn as friends but nothing more." He said. "Well then be their friend, our move to Hartford happens in a month which is why we're here in New York looking for a suitable house in Hartford so now is the best time to become friends with them. Besides I really think I would like Rory." She said happily. "O, you're the best I love you so much I'm sorry I acted like a fool. I will call Rory and Finn when they come back from their honeymoon and apologize to them also." Logan said happily.
Logan would never change what he and Rory had once had but he realized now that over the years they had both changed significally. Hopefully they could be friends one day. He knew that Finn would be an amazing dad to the twins so he still didn't quite understand why he was so mad when he first found out. He chalked it up to surprise. He sent a quick text to Finn.
L: hey I know you are on your honeymoon just wondering if I could have lunch or dinner with you and Rory when you get back.
F: Rory said yeah I'll call you when we get home in a few days
L: thanks man
