"Please, Mr. Jung, call me Jungkook, and the pleasure is all mine. I look forward to meeting Kim Taehyung in person," Jungkook says, his eyes searching the space behind Hoseok.Hoseok opens his mouth and turns to point at Taehyung, but balks when he realizes the younger isn't behind him.Willing himself not to panic, he turns to Jungkook, forcing an apologetic smile on his face while scrambling for an excuse as to how he has managed so effortlessly to lose a Taehyung."He was right behind me. Just give me a moment," Hoseok manages to choke out. He wills himself not to simply sprint out of the restaurant, searching for the artist who has decided to disappear, now, of all the times."Is that him?" Jungkook appears behind Hoseok as the elder stands outside the restaurant entrance, his eyes searching for a sign, any sign, of Taehyung, and points at two figures crouched down by the sidewalk outside the cafe.Hoseok knows by the trademark orange hair that it is, in fact, Taehyung. He marches over and prepares himself to deliver the lecture of a lifetime, when a hand grasps his shoulder, pulling him back.He looks, confused, at Jungkook, who merely shakes his head, staring at the artist, grinning. Hoseok follows his path of vision, and lets out a small sigh.Taehyung sits with a small boy, and the two draw with chalk on the cement, chatting amiably about clouds and the new One Piece episode like long time friends. The small boy has managed to scribble onto the sidewalk a smiley face, a sun, and a heart, while Taehyung has drawn Hoseok, down to the almost invisible birthmark on his left cheek. When Taehyung notices Hoseok staring at him and his new-found friend, he grins and hopes that Hoseok won't be too mad.High fiving the small boy, Taehyung gets up. Brushing off his pants, he looks at Hoseok. He then notices the man behind his hyung.Taehyung doesn't know why he can't seem to catch his breath a the stranger's gaze seems to sear right thr11ough him. He offers a hand to the well dressed stranger standing next to his hyung, realizing that this is probably the patron Hoseok had been going on about, but not knowing what to do with that information.Use your words, Taehyung, he reminds himself."Kim Taehyung," he manages to say. His face is beginning to burn and he wonders whether it's because of the particularly offending brightness of the sun or because of the very heated gaze of the stranger."Jeon Jungkook," the stranger (who now has a name), says, his voice quietly confident, his grip strong on Taehyung's hand (and also Taehyung's heart currently, just a little, if he's willing to admit it), and he decides he likes the way the man's strong fingers wrap around his own thin ones.Taehyung doesn't realize that he's still gripping Jungkook's hand until Hoseok clears his throat, and he slips his fingers out of the grasp rather unwillingly, his face still burning."Shall we?" Hoseok beckons the men towards the cafe, his eyes sharp on Taehyung, warning the younger to behave.

---------------

"So, Jungkook-ssi, when did you decide you wanted to be a patron?" Hoseok asks, making small talk as the three men sit in the cafe, preparing to eat."Well, I've had my eye on Kim Taehyung for a while," Jungkook begins, and Taehyung's knife almost slips out of his hand. Why did he have to say something like that?
