Chapter 16

Luke's P.O.V

"WAIT, MR. SANCHEZ, WAIT! I called out as they turned around.

"Yes?" they said.

"Okay Clearly Lauren doesn't need that type of pressure right now! She's our best friend and we wouldn't do ANYTHING to hurt her! So don't think that, because we don't do ANYTHING inappropriate! Lauren is my girlfriend and I am super over protective with her. And she was just in an accident and you guys don't ask her if she's okay? You just barge in and yell at her! Well that's not ok, your daughter is in pain and now she's in more pain for what you guys told her!"

They looked at each other and sighed.

"We were a little hard on her." her dad said

"I'm in love with your daughter. And I feel her pain, so I suggest you two go up there and apologize." I told them.

They went back upstairs, and thanked me.

Lauren's P.O.V

I heard a knock on the door.

"come in." I said with a flat voice.

It was my parents.

"Lauren can we talk to you, again." my mom said

I nodded, and they apologized for what they were telling me and how they weren't focusing on the important things.

"It's okay." I smiled

"Your boyfriend Luke is just amazing, he made us realize that we were being horrible parents, he's a keeper." my dad said, I started to laugh and we hugged.

They left and Luke stayed the night with me. I made room for him on my bed so we wouldn't be so far.

"Thank you for telling me parents all that stuff." I whispered to him.

"Of course, they were treating you like shit, I couldn't stand it." he said.

We kissed and went to bed.

In the morning I felt his arm on my waist and we both woke up.

The nurse came in seeing us in the bed together, it was awkward.

"You are able to leave today." she told us.

"Finally I feel so dirty, I need a shower!" I said, we both laughed.

I got ready and we were leaving the room.

"I will always remember this room." he said taking a deep breathe.

"Why?" I hugged him.

"This is the place we told each other we loved each other." he smiled still looking at the room, I did the same.

We left and went to Starbucks.

"A coffee sounds amazing!" I said eagerly.

We sat down with our coffees and talked.

"Wait, if we are using Beaus car, who took them home?" I asked.

"I think my mum did?" he replied.

We left and went home, he dropped me off and said bye. We kissed and It was magical (again.)
