Three Worlds, Three Lives, One Love (Once Upon a Time)

Chapter 1: The Dream

This story is base of the chinese movie "Once Upon a Time". I don't own any part of it. I am simply writing it down into a story form from the actual movie for those that have a hard time reading the text.

Sounds of thunder echo in the background.

Have you ever loved someone?

Have you ever... hated someone?

Two females ran hurriedly across the platform. The platform was filled with clouds. A few stone pillars stood in line beside them as they ran.

"Hurry, your highness!" One of the female urged as she pull on the other sleeve.

The other one obey and didn't say anything. Instead, she and the other female pick up speed as much as their feet would allow.

"Get them!" A soldier yelled. The soldiers that were chasing them ran after them with their spears and swords.

"Hurry. Hurry, your highness, hurry." The female said one last time. She look back at the other in urgent state.

The other female had a blindfold over her eyes. Her left arm carrying a bundle as she ran. Once she near the edge of the place, she jump off. No hesitation, down into the thunder cloud filled sky. She held her arm outstretched.

Her highness descend down through the clouds. The speed quicken as the farther she falls.

"Ahh!" She gasped out as the lightning struck her a couple time on her fall. Wind blew in her face, a few strand of her hair flew up.

'We no longer owe each other anything.'

As she think that through her mind, a glowing red mark appear on her forehead. Her body was cover from view in the clouds.

*bell ringing*

A white fox took the place of her highness. It fall with it's head face downward for a few seconds. Then appear once again as her highness.

The blindfold loosen with the wind current revealing a pair of closed eye. She continue falling, the blindfold flew away in the air.

You experienced the love and hatred of mortals when you were called Su Su.

This short Love-hate relationship, is just the experience of a single lifetime.

Her highness once again, now fully turn back into a beautiful white fox. Her many tails flutter and wave in the wind. The fox had it's eye slightly open and close. It's front and back paws resting on its stomach and her head raised.

As the fox falls, she emits out a sad and piercing cry. She falls through the clouds and into the mortal level sky. And downward.

Down below was a land filled with blossoming trees, plant growth and a few long streams beside hills. The fox fall past all that and onto the trees.

The blossoming peach trees grow around the area that the fox felled. A thin layer of fog cling to the branches. Birds chirp a couple time here and there.

A woman lay right below one of the tree. She was still asleep till that minute. Beside her sleeping form was a small riverfall fountain. Where the petals of the blossom tree flutter down.

From the sky, a mystical looking bird flew down. It was a blue color, with its wing a flame color. As it prepare to land, it morph itself into a mortal shape. A pile of glowing light envelop it as it change. Landing on the plant growth a few feet of a bridge.

A man dress in blue garment and cloak, with a black boot walk into the blossoming trees. His left hand up to block the sunlight that shone down at him. His step slows as he near the sleeping woman.

The woman move in her sleep and turn her head. She open her eyes as if she know that the man was meant to come.

She look up at the tree branch filled with blossom and some that are still buds. It cover most of the sun's view, but the sun ray still oversee it and shone down.

"Why am I here amongst the peach trees? The woman asked.

The man had now stood beside her and look down at her with a smile. He turn his head sideway and answered.

"You fell asleep and had a dream."

He reached out his hand to help her up. She sat up and took it and stood up with a tiny hop.

"But I don't remember it." She said, giving him a confused look.

The man can only smile at her look and brush his hand against her hair. Her hair was a long black, with some dyed.

"It's good for you to forget it. In this dream, you had an extremely sad life."

The woman took a moment to process it as he continues.

"The moment you wake up, you will utterly forget all the stuff in your dream."

She look sideway in a thoughtful way. Her eye swept the ground then back at the man.

"You are simply the empress of Qingqiu, royal immortal Bai Qian..."

The petals of the peach trees swirl in the wind. With a everlasting grace and calm feel. It was a very beautiful sight.
