Hey! I'm Victoria but everyone just calls me Vikki, I'm 15 years old and I live with 5 other girls oh yeah I forgot to say I'm an orphan I live at the All Girls Orphanage which is ran by Miss Lacey, people would think that we look at her like a mother figure but she's actually like our older sister. I've lived here since I was 9, my mum got with this bloke that I hated from day 1 he ruined my life he's scarred me mentally and physically my mum didn't know what he did to me and I prefer not to speak about it Miss Lacey is the only person here that knows about it.
I woke up this morning to all the girls jumping on my bed, why were they so excited? Then I remembered it was Open Day where people come in have a look at us and if they like what they see then one of us will get adopted. I have been through so many of these and no one goes for me it hurts knowing that someone doesn't want me. I shoved the girls out of my room and started getting ready I had a relaxing but quick shower washed my hair and done everything I needed to do. I put on my acid wash high waisted skinny jeans and my baby pink crop top, I dried my hair and curled it, I do my usual make-up which is eyeliner waterline and winged liner, mascara and maybe some lipstick or lip gloss. I put on my black converses and go downstairs. As I'm going down the stairs I can hear the girls giggling and gossiping, what's so interesting? I look to see Miss Lacey's office door is closed which means someone is in there.
I have been sitting in my room for the past half hour because whoever's in Miss Lacey's office hasn't come out yet. I plug my ear phones in and listen to Best Friends by The Janoskians and fall asleep. I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on my door.
Vikki: come in!
Miss Lacey: please come downstairs, some people want to meet you your the last girl to see them. Please make an effort with them by the way they are young boys but at least old enough to adopt.
With that she left my room and I slowly follow behind into her office.
