~3rd Person Pov.~
It was a late rainy night. Amy went out to get diapers for her baby girl Lilith. Mark was napping on the couch and Lilith was in her crib, sleeping soundly. Chica was laying at marks feet. Amy drove carefully to the store, or as carefully as she could. It was slippery on the road and she was cautious. But not cautious enough. She started to slide and before she knew it she was hydroplaning of the side of the road, spinning out of control. Her car was speeding down a hill, and she was panicking. When the hill got steeper the car flipped, right before hitting a tree. By this time Amy was feeling dizzy and was going to black out, but she was determined to call 911 before she blacked out. And that's what she did. She managed to tell the people what happened and was told to stay on the line with them, and that they were on the way. She was going to be okay they said. The phone slide out of her hands, down into the pit of glass. Amy watched it fall before everything went dark and she blacked out.

~The paramedics arrived soon enough, and unweaved her out from the seat belt she was wearing, grabbed her phone and rushed her to the hospital. On the way there one of the nurses decided to call her emergency contact, which sure enough, it was Mark. ~

Mark heard his phone ring and quickly woke up from his "light sleep" He answered with a groggy 'Hello?' The situation was explained and before they ended the call, he was upstairs putting on shoes and grabbing a sleepy, whiny Lilith and her bag, and his keys and bolted out the door. He strapped Lilith in her seat shut her door, immediately getting in the drivers side, starting the car and quickly leaving his home. He didn't care if he got a ticket, he needed to make sure Amy was Okay. The baby was okay, and all he hoped was that Amy was okay too. He knew he couldn't raise a baby on his on. Hell, he couldn't even fully raise himself let alone another human being. He loved Amy to much to let her go.

~When he finally got in the hospital with Lilith now asleep in his arms, he carefully ran up to the desk and asked for the room Amy was put in. He was told the room, but he was told he wasn't allowed in, that they were trying to keep her alive at the moment, and that she wasn't breathing. At all. Tears welled up in Marks eyes, but he only nodded and sat down sadly. He couldn't do anything about it. He wasn't allowed in. He shifted Lilith so she wouldn't wake up uncomfortable, and let all his tears fall out of his eyes. Dripping like the rain onto the ground. His phone softly vibrated in his pocket and he shifted to pull it out, and read the message. It was from Sean. It read: How are you?
It seemed so sweet and all but all mark could answer since he was trying not to let his heartbreak more with every thought of Amy, was a crying face. He contacted his mom to come to get Lilith and shoved his phone into his pocket. He prayed that she would be alright... ~
