Miku has grown up with a crush since elementary, he has always been in her class and always in the same school. She's always wanted to confess her feelings but she fears she's too much of a friend and that he will reject her.
Will Miku ever confess...
It was finally Valentine's day!!! Even for a morning the school was all rush. Girls trying to give their chocolates before their preferred boy had chocolate already given to them. It had already been five minutes and Gackpo had been covered in chocolate filled boxes. Now Meiko was slightly jealous but she couldn't wait for White Day where she would certainly be showered in the boxes as well.
Miku had her little box in her bag, not sure when she would even leave her chocolate for Kaito. She had left a little note inside not saying her name but a codename: Turquoise. She had seen Luka give well more feed Kiyoteru a marble cupcake but she felt jealous and didn't bother to stay for long. Now she was moping in her seat.
"Come on Miku-chan it can't be that bad. Just sneak the chocolate in the dude's desk or get over your shyness and give I to him personally." Gumi and Cocorobo had been trying to cheer up our Miku all morning but nothing was working. "I can't just sneak it into his desk..." Miku mumbled and Gumi was caught off guard. "So it's for an upperclassmen huh?" Gumi had an idea of who she had made it for. "Just leave her alone!" Rin came to her rescue and pushed the other two away. "I know that feeling." "You do?" Miku's voice was laced in curiosity and surprise. "Yep but I'm not telling you about it!" She stuck her tongue out and sighed. "This is what happens on the big day. Imagine tonight, they just had to make it a masquerade." "Most people will know who each other is but they can't reveal it." "Exactly, most people can't tell each other by their hair. For instance you and Gackpo-san. You two have the longest hair in the school. So it'll be easy to identify you two." "Unless we make it look like our hair is shorter." "Haha, good luck with that." Miku just sighed.
Later during Lunch without anyone noticing Miku ducked into Kaito's class and remembered which one was his desk and snuck her box of chocolates. She ran out before anyone saw her. Then she went down to the cafeteria.
Time Skip
It was finally night time and Miku was wearing her white dress.

She was waiting for Gumi to knock on her door as the two of them were going to walk together. While she waited she fixed up her hair. She had it in a ponytail with a surrounding braid, it made her hair slightly shorter. Finally there was a knock on their door, she headed over quickly grabbing her handbag on the way.
"Sorry I'm late, couldn't figure out which dress I wanted to wear." "I'm still surprised you even had dresses," Gumi looked at Miku in shocked. "I'm not that much of a tomboy!" "I see though that you're wearing your orange jacket though." "You know how much I like wearing it, anyway shouldn't we get going?" "Yeah..."
The two of them headed towards the school and go to the gym, there were already heaps of people. Unsurprisingly they could spot Gackpo out of the crowd with a few girls by him but surprisingly there were only about three of them. "Looks like the dance has effected his popularity." "Yeah, I'm gonna go put my bag over there." Miku pointed to where bags were being kept.
Miku's POV
After putting my bag down I see that Gumi-chan is gone from where we were standing. I sigh and go stand somewhere and that's when they put on some classical music obviously for people to waltz. Must be making me perform later, I watch the crowd. Picking out Luka-san and Kiyoteru-san dancing together and shockingly I see Gumi-chan and Gackpo-san dancing together. Now I feel left out till someone approaches me. He's wearing a suit, by the style of it, it reminds me of the 1800's. His mask is a deep blue with black. "May I have this dance?" He asks me calmly. "Oh course," I curtsy and he takes my hand and we go over to dance. As I look around I see the entire floor is covered in waltzing couples. There is not one person without a partner. "Most people would look at their partners while they dance." "I'm sorry," he twirls me and we go back to dancing.
We start dancing with different partners but it's not long before all of us have our original partners. "So my mystery girl, have you had someone on your mind?" "Only one," I'm glad my mask covers my cheeks otherwise he would see my blush.
"It's now time!" I here Ryo-sensei say. I can tell hes about to tell people to take their masks off to reveal their partners. And he does so. So predictable... I go to reach for the back of my mask and so does my partner. "So wh-" "For a dance the gentlemen should reveal themselves, that's what I believe. Miku-chan." He takes the mask off, how did he know it was me?
When the mask is off I couldn't believe my eyes, it was Kaito-san. I take mine off in politeness. "How did you know it was me?" I was lightly blushing, I could feel my face going red. "You're note said Turquoise, if you haven't noticed you have a turquoise ribbon in your mask plus your hair is turquoise. Miku-chan I'm happy that your chocolate was for me. I felt really happy. Because Miku-chan I have feelings for you. No, I love you." I almost fainted, he has been my crush for years. "I-I love you too," as soon as I said that he pulled me into an embrace, a tight one too.
I just noticed all eyes were on us. I blushed bright red. We got a few whistles and some people took photos, including Luka-san. She's gonna pay for that later. "Is something wrong Miku-chan?" Kaito-san looked at me with worry. "Everyone's watching us..." He simply kissed me and the forehead and proceeded to dance. I tried so hard concentrate, thankfully when the dance ended he let me be on my way and that's when Masa-sensei called me over. "Well look at you~ Anyway you okay to perform?" She had a glare from me from her first statement but then I gave a nod. She gathered Luka-san and the Kagamines and the four of us set up our equipment.
"Which song are we gonna perform first?" Rin-chan asked. "Let's go with Love Trial." "Were gonna need someone on the keyboard. Luka-san can't play two instruments at once." "I'll play for you," it was Gumi-chan. "Thanks Gumi-chan we owe you one." I high-fived her and she set herself up.
We ended up playing; Love Trial, Love Song, Heart a la Mode, Dreaming Chuchu, Sweet Devil, Streaming Heart, Patchwork Staccato and a few different songs. By popular demand we ended up playing Kocchi Muite Baby for our last song. By the time we were done we were exhausted.
All of had a huge drink and continued on with our night. When it was time for us to go home Kaito-san offered to take me home, I accepted. He held my hand the entire time which I thought was sweet. When we finally got to my place he faced me and gave me a kiss, this time on the lips, I kissed back and we were both red by the time our short kissed was finished. Before he left he gave me one last kiss on the cheek and left. I on the other hand was left with butterflies in my stomach.
