New Life

I woke up feeling comfortable, I touched my head for a pain or something to welcome me but nothing. I turn to my left and something gripped my waist tightly....... no.....no not something but an arm, I mean strong arm.

" Welcome sleeping beauty" when I heard that voice, I wanted to run away but remembering what I had the last time when I  disobeyed him, I stayed still. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead. He drew me closed to him,and hugged me tight to him. He smells so nice and his hand protective wrapped around my body. To be frank, I felt so small. I was very scared but I was enjoying it.

"Sorry for what I did" he whispers in my ear. I had goosebumps instantly. He voice is damn sexy.

" Look at me and say something " he said slowly knowing that my eyes are still closed. I know he is smirking now. I stood up abruptly and rush outside.

" Hell! Where are you going by this time of the day" gezz it's 12:00pm and he expect me to sleep.

" To eat" I replied opening the door, I walked out as if I have known this place for 20years, knowing every room here. I saw a door, thinking it the kitchen. I opened it and of course.... It the same room I came out of. Am so embarrassed.

"  Missing? " Gwi asked teasing.

" No...... I just want to take my bath first " I lied.

" Okay, I will help" he and walked towards me.

" what??.....no...no am fine, am alright " I said stepping back. Seriously what's he thinking now?

"Waiting" he raised his hands in defeat. I entered and sat down. I can't believe am in this situation. I want to escape but I can't, I don't even know the door to the kitchen.
Is my mate really leaving me here. I thought he will do something to save me but no! He didn't, he rejected and left me here.
                       

I did my business and went out. Immediately I opened the door, he held my hands and pulled me out without saying anything. I couldn't resist, I was too scared to do that. We passed by different doors and climbed different stairs. Wow....Is this place a castle or something?

" So this is the kitchen" he present, I rush and opened the refrigerator ready to cook. Am very hungry.

" But you are not the one cooking. I have maids for that". 
He continued.

The kitchen and dining hall was very huge. He lead me to dinner table and sat me like a real gentleman. I just smiled because I was feeling scared. A man came to me asking me what I want. I told him to bring me anything nice and palatable. He bowed and went away.

" I want to say sorry again for what I did. I was angry, I promise I will not do that again. " he said again looking nervous. This made me smile.

" it ok" I forgave him because, truthfully, he is the first person who had apologize after doing something wrong to me. He looks so relieve after hearing that.

" oh......and I will show you the house when you are done eating " he said excitedly. Is this guy the one who sucked me and slapped me right now? The one cruel, wicked, heartless and.......

" helooo?" He dragged me out of my thought.

" Sorry.... Umm...what did you say again?" I asked and saw him smirking.

" Well I didn't know i am handsome that much...."

' yeah you looked like a Greek god' I thought.

" I was asking whether it ok for you" he continued.

"Why do you trust me? Maybe after showing me your place. I will sneak away"

" oh......you won't" he answered as if that's the obvious answer.
I nodded knowing he was right. I won't, because actually I love the place already.

' Don't think about it because any chance we get now, we are escaping to our mate' Izzy said.

' So we can die there? Really? think Izzy, this place is better'

' When the time comes let see who will win'

" Are you talking to your...um...that talking thing?" He asked as if he was disgusted by it.

" No" I shut Izzy out immediately.. They brought my food and I gasped loudly.

" More?"

" no no it's too much"

"Eat your heart out,my flower" he took his meal too  (blood of course).

" Yours tasted good " he made a nasty look at his meal. I gulp every hard scared.

" Don't be scared, even if it's the last blood on this planet I wouldn't suck you" I was a little bit relieve.
After our meal, he walked me to the house, showing me every parts of the mansion.

" Any family? "

" Nope am alone, I don't need any family. I need only you my lily"

" The name's Mamushi, not lily." Am tired of the name now.

" I prefer lily, because you are my flower " he said conically.

" You are the one who save me when I was poisoned. I don't know what to say but thanks, You saved me." I changed the topic.

"I know right?" He said with no emotions. He started to another part of the mansion but stopped.

" Why?"

" I couldn't stand for you to be poison, your death will not be fair"

" What do you mean by that?" I asked confused.

"Nothing, forget it. I have a meeting to attend,meet you in the evening. Wait for me before you sleep" He kissed my forehead and walked away. Leaving me in the middle of the house confused. I sank on the floor. Am tired with all this drama in my life. I feel so lonely and empty. I need my mate.
