Aaron Burr x reader (Coffee Shop AU)

(I made this as a gift for Foxiene because she
A. Loves coffee shop AUs
B. Loves Aaron Burr
And
C. I love her as a friend and decided to make her this
Anyways yeah let's get on with this crappy thing that I'm gonna try to make as long as possible
Also the picture above is what made me get this idea :3)

You walk into Coffee Spice and Everything Nice (my friend came up with the name she doesn't have Wattpad though ;w;) to get greeted by the same guy that served you every time. "Hello ma'am," he repeats saying what he says everyone you see each other "I'm assuming you'd like the usual?"
"Yes please" You reply
You always got a latte with milk in it, just the way you liked. At this point after having this guy serve you the same thing every time you came for months, you thought he was annoyed by you. He gave you the latte and you said thank you.

You sat down and opened your laptop to work on stuff for college. You take a sip of the coffee and notice a slight difference in milk. Since you were sitting at a table near him you ask, "Is the milk different? It doesn't taste how it normally does"
"Well we ran out and I knew you always wanted the same thing and before I came to work this morning, I got it specially for you."

You blushed and stared at him shocked. This guy, who's name you don't even know, bought you milk for your coffee with his own fucking money.
"Holy shit" you whisper to yourself

You text your best friend Eliza to ask her what to do.

You: OMGGG

Eliza: ??

You: OK SO THERE'S THIS GUY THAT WORKS AT THE COFFEE SHOP I GO TO EVERY MORNING AND HE SPENT HIS OWN MONEY ON BUYING MILK FOR MY COFFEE I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WHAT DO I DO?!

Eliza: EEEEEEEEE ARE YOU SERIOUSSS???

You: YEPPP

Eliza: okok just say thank you and try to get him to go on a date with You charm him!

You: a date?????? What????? Charm???????

Eliza: have you never flirted before?

You: ....yeah

Eliza: I'm surprised well since I'm not there to help you just talk to him. Start a conversation!

You: what do I say tho??

Eliza: you'll figure out I gtg byeeee

You: ok bye!

You sit in your chair clueless as to how to start a conversation with him. You take another sip of the coffee and continue to try to think of things to say. But before you can think of something he's the one to speak.

"So are you enjoying the coffee? I can get different milk next time if you don't like it." He says

"Oh n-no it's good! I like it! Why'd you get the milk for me anyways?" You ask

"I don't know, maybe I'm just a nice person." He jokes

"So what's your name?" You ask

"Aaron Burr, and you?"

"Y/N L/N, nice to meet you Aaron!" (I almost typed Foxienes name XD)

You two talked for what seemed like days but was actually hours, eventually you had to go back to your dorm but before you left you asked him a question.

"Before I leave how old are you Aaron, not that you look old, just wondering." You say

"I'm 20, still in college, but today I didn't have any classes so I worked all day," he answers, "and you?"

"I'm in college still too! I'm 19, what college do you go to?"

"Kings college." He says

"Same! If you ever wanna hang out my dorm is 116 on the second floor. See ya later!" You say exiting the coffee shop

"Bye" He says
(If I got the whole dorm thing wrong don't blame me I'm not in college aaaa)

Burrs POV cuz why not

She had just left after our conversation and I knew two things

1. I loved her

2. I was going to get fired for talking to her instead of working

"Burr quit zoning out we gotta work." My friend Alex said

Alex was the person who told me about the coffee shop. I needed somewhere to work because I was running really low on mint and he said that Coffee Spice and Everything Nice needed employees so I got the job.

"Oh sorry Alex" I said

Alex and I were walking back to our dorm when he asked, "So do you like that girl?"
"What girl?" I ask

"Y'know that girl you almost got fired over." He responds
I give him a sort of glare but answer, "Yes, but my love life is non of your business"

"Jeez I was just wondering" he said

It was once we got back to our dorm that I realized me and Y/N were neighbors. How? My dorm number is 115 and here is 116, I also know this because I saw her and her friend arguing about who was supposed to have the key to the dorm.

"I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU HAD IT" Y/N yelled

"I THOUGHT YOU DID" her roommate responded

Y/N looked over to see me and Alex

Your POV

Me and my roommate, Angelica, just got back from a movie to a locked dorm door. That was normal, but what wasn't was that neither of us had the key. We started to fight until I looked over and saw Aaron.

"Oh A-Aaron hi" You say nervously

"Uhhh hi, is your dorm locked or something?" He asks

"Yeah we forgot the key.." You say awkwardly

"Oh well Ale-"
Angelica cuts Aaron off "Alex knows how to open locks with bobby pins! Here's mine Alex!" She hands him a bobby pin that was in her hair.

"Oh uh thanks." He says walking to the door.

He bends down to the lock and starts doing the work to open it. Me and Aaron get into a small conversation.

"So is that your dorm right there?" You ask pointing to the door to dorm 115

"Oh yeah it is! I didn't realize we were neighbors until we got here." He replies

"Well then it seems it'll be easy for us to visit each other huh?" You say happily

After about a minute Alex gets the door open

"Thank you Alex!" Angelica says

"Yeah thanks Alex, see you later Aaron!" You following Angelica into your dorm

"You like him~" Angelica teases

"Yes I do." You say

"Wait you actually do?" Angelica questions

"Yep!" You say "He's cute and nice and really cool. Honestly he just seems to be the perfect guy!"

"I ship it" Angelica says

(Well this is the longest I've written I'm gonna make a part two I guess so um yeah here's this for now :3)
