"Every new beginning comes
from some other beginning's end."→ Park MinHee's POV ←
I continued walking in sync with the pitter patter of the raindrops, splashing water from time to time. I was still trying to adjust to my new surroundings and it was a surprise I didn't get lost.
My apartment was fairly far from my new school so I had to take the bus everyday, leaving HyunMin behind was a good choice. Knowing him, he'd cause us to be late.
Before I knew it bus 143 arrived at my stop. I gently collapsed my clear umbrella and lightly pressed my bus card against the sensor. "Good Morning Miss." the bus driver smiled gently at me. My eyes curved as I smiled through my white mask and then picked out a seat.
To my dismay it wasn't the most empty. I did manage to find a good seat though. My eyes averted towards the misty window and waited for the bus to depart.
We soon arrived at the next stop and a few people came on. I nonchalantly changed the song playing from my playlist and looked up. One of the tall males that boarded was making his way towards me. Please don't sit beside me... Please don't sit beside- He plopped down on the seat right next to me.
I furrowed my brows in disapproval before panning my head back out the window. I guess it was certain to happen, this was one of the only seats left.

His attention was quickly caught by a sketchbook he pulled out. Without him noticing I peaked too, there were small doodles and sketches that were amazing. He must be into art. He looked around the same age as me and his school uniform was exposed underneath his black coat.
It's the uniform for my school...I wonder what grade he's in though. He had black thick hair and orbs that held life. I couldn't see much of his other features because of the black mask he wore.
Soon enough, he had noticed me observing him. We made eye contact but I quickly looked down in attempts to avoid it. Shoot I looked for too long... I squeezed my eyelids before hearing a soft chuckle. After a little bit I looked back only to find him still staring at me. "Like what you see?" he smirked raising his eyebrows up and down jokingly.
I tried to keep a straight face but couldn't help but erupt into laughter at his question. He smiled in return before introducing himself, "I'm Lee SeJun". I took the hand he held out to shake and responded, "My name's Park MinHee, it's nice to meet you".
After our quick introductions we went back to our own things. This time it wasn't as awkward. A few minutes later I felt a weight on my right shoulder. I turned my head to see SeJun leaning on me. My eyes widened and the awkward tension returned.
I reached towards him before seeing his calm, relaxed state. He had fallen asleep. How can someone sleep so fast?! My hand returned back onto my lap as I decided to just let him rest. Hopefully it won't be weird once he wakes up.
I felt my face slightly heat at the sudden contact. Ah...I just met this person and he's already leaning on my shoulder...
A few more stops passed and we finally made it to the front of the school. As soon as the bus came to a halt he awoke, almost as if on cue. He got up quickly and hurried out of the vehicle. My mouth slightly dropped, does he even realize what he... I shook my head and ignored his weird reaction.
I gathered my things and stepped out of the bus clicking open my umbrella. My heart beat started slowly accelerating from my nervous thoughts as I let out a deep breathe. This was my 'fresh start', my chance at a better, blithe life. Hopefully dad won't find us anytime soon...
"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." I whispered softly taking my first few steps towards the school.
