"No fair!"

"Is to fair haha!"

A small boy and girl chase each other at the far end of the park. The wind picks up blowing newly dead leafs across the great expanse of green beyond and the colorful play equipment surrounded by wood chips. The boy's brown locks are pushed into his eyes by it and he yelps as his friend taps his shoulder in triumph.

"Your it!"

He immediately begins the chase again following the girl farther from the park into the neighboring woods.

"Hey get back here!"

"No way looser!"

She laughs as his worry greatens.

"You two get back here!"

They skid to a halt groaning in annoyance.

"Sorry that's my mom."

The girl groans walking back with her friend. Her vision becomes hazy as they approach the intense light unshaded by the trees. The haziness turns to intense white.

Groaning I sit up confused. Looking from the blanket beneath me to the sun partially hidden by leaves I remember what I had been doing. Enjoying nature of course.

I begin to realize why I had woken up when my back pocket begins buzzing. Checking my phone I see several notifications from Benedict.

"(Y/N)."

"(Y/N) please."

"Get here right away."

I smile picking up my blanket and walking back to my vehicle.

knock knock!

Waiting patiently I hear footsteps approach the dark wooden door. Ben comes to the door in his strange shadow suit.

"(Y/N) its so nice to see you."

His voice is calm unlike what the violent man is usually like.

"You too Ben."

He gives me a gentle hug and invites me in.

"Those kids I tell you! No respect for me. I just don't understanding it (Y/N)."

"Mmhm."

I gently cradle his head in my lap stroking his dark brown hair. After every plan fails he'd invite me over and rant to me. Getting quite emotional I could only try to do my best to soothe him.

"Ben?"

"Yes?"

"Do you remember when we were kids?"

"I guess, why?"

"I had a dream earlier about when we used to play together, at that park near my old house. We were playing tag had ventured into the woods and my mom called for us to come back. That's all I remembered before waking up."

He hummed in thought letting his shadow like disguise disperse.

"You should be less harsh on your kids and those other children as well. Think of how you felt as a child and how unfair the world felt sometimes, like the whole world was against you. Children need lots of love and support Ben or else they may become disturbed or become so scared of failure that they hurt themselves with stress."

His eyes shut tightly tucking his glasses in his breast pocket.

"I will think about, but only for you dear."

Moving his hair I plant a kiss on his forehead.

"Thank you Ben."

Sitting up his face is slightly red.

"Your welcome."
