Prologue
The sandy she-cat was staring up in the trees. "I saw a scratch of moonlight," she breathed. "That must be a good sign."
"Not for the clans." A snarl sounded from the ferns.
"Who are you?" the sandy she-cat bristled.
"You should know who I am," the cat hissed, " Thunderclan destroyed my life!"
Sure, go ahead, act like you don't know!
The sandy she-cat didn't understand.
She took everything from me!
With a hiss, the Darkforest cat sprang. She landed on the sandy she-cat and pushed her muzzle into the earth.
"I'm going to make you pay for every blessing Starclan gave you!" the Darkforest cat growled, " And every blessing they stole from me!"
The only thing that the Darkforest she-cat felt was anger. Anger from everything that had been taken from her. Everything that had gone wrong.
But, there was one more thing she felt, and that was revenge.
