The Neko

Wake up

     I wander around the town, it wasn't the nicest but it worked, I kind of grew up in a place like this. Rin was gonna be getting of work in a few hours, I could cook him something, I ran to the store and grabbed some vegetables. I decided to make a chicken salad, I waddled down the sidewalk and to the Motel. 

     I slammed the door as I entered, I threw the chicken in hot water and put it on the stove, I let that heat up and I cut up the rest of the vegetables. I heard the door open, I peaked around and Rin took off his sweater, he flopped onto the couch, I set the control next to him. He looked up at me and smiled. " I'm cooking stay in here.. " I rolled out of the living room and into the kitchen, my nails became sharp and long, I sliced the chicken with them. They went back to normal after I was done, I threw everything together and happily served them to Rin. I peeked over the couch arm rest and he looked at me as he took a bite. " It's good. " He said as he patted my head, I meowed and kissed his head.

     I ate as he got ready for bed, he picked me up and carried me to the room, I set the bowl on the counter as we passed. He set me on the bed and laid next to me, wrapping his arms around me and holding me as we fell asleep. 

      I heard something fall in the living room " Rin, you awake? " I asked, no response, I turned into a cat and snuck into the living room and Takumi, I ran back into the room and quietly shut the door, locking it. I woke up Rin, he did want to get up, I turned back to my human form and shook him around. " Haru, What is it? " He asked sleepily. " Takumi's in the living room.. " I said as I heard a jiggle at the door, he hopped up and grabbed me, jumping onto the fire escape. I turned into a cat so it would be easier to carry me, I heard the door break down as we were only 3 flights away.
