The officer slams the criminal against the car bonnet, roughly cuffing hand cuffs around his wrists. His teeth are grit, and he curses at Limitless all the while who simply sits sassily on the bonnet of a nearby police car, one leg crossed over the other and his elbow resting on one knee, chin in hand.
"You can't fucking do this to me!" the man struggling against the cop shouts, glaring. "Do you know who I am?"
All Limitless did was smirk behind his mask, shrugging his broad shoulders. "What? Am I meant to?" He cockily replies, further infuriating the man. The officer tries to shove him into the awaiting car, but he wasn't going in without struggling a whole lot. Limitless rolls his eyes then waves his hand, a soft red glow emitting from his fingertips. The waistband of the criminal's pants shroud in the same red glow, dropping from around his hips to the ground.
He shrieks, his face burning as red. The police officer stifles a laugh, finally managing to push the pantsed criminal into the back of his car. He musters a teasing glare to Limitless, hands on his hips.
"Limitless, you aren't supposed to play with your prey," he teases, a grin tugging into his lips. Limitless laughs, the sound muffled by his black mask.
"Too bad, Detective Suh," he teases back. He, Johnny Suh, and Limitless have this kind of teasing chemistry with one another, and have since he first became the masked hero. It's usually a lighthearted, friendly banter--Detective Suh and him obviously have great chemistry.
Well, of course they do; Limitless' alter ego and the officer are good friends, after all. Does Johnny know that his good friend Lee Taeyong is the one hiding behind the mask?
No. Of course not, and Taeyong would prefer to keep it that way. It's a secret identity for a reason.
Johnny snickers, combing his fingers through his dirt brown hair. "You're so funny,"
"I know," Taeyong stands up on the bonnet, stretching his bare arms above his head. His denim collar scratches at his neck, and Taeyong sighs in relief at his joints popping. "Anyway, Officer, I'll be off."
Johnny steps forwards with his hand outstretched to protest, but Taeyong just winks and waves, leaping off the car and using his telekinesis to lift his body into the air.
Taeyong loved flying, he felt lighter than a feather and it was such a beautiful feeling. He never thought he would have been able to control his powers to the point of being able to accomplish something of his dreams. The stunning view of the bustling city below, the wind blowing through his hair—the feeling was just plain euphoric. And Taeyong loved every second of it.
He arrives back at home—a small run-down apartment complex. He lands gracefully on a small balcony that lay outside his bedroom, quickly pulling the door open and dashing inside. Once safely inside, Taeyong slides the curtains closed, drenching the tiny bedroom in darkness. A small crack of evening sunlight shines through the curtains, giving him enough light to change from his costume.
Taeyong tugs his black mask from his damp face, pulling his wig off and running his bony fingers through his sweaty black hair. He wears the wig to help conceal his identity as Limitless, however, when he's just Taeyong, his hair is just a plain black—flattened and not styled.
Taeyong snaps to attention when he feels something warm and wet trickling down his lip, and he freezes. He touches his fingers to his lip, and he stares down at the sticky red substance on his fingers.
