The guy on the motorcycle seemed to have a type of vibe that sent chills down my spine as soon as I saw him, but I didn't know why. I shook off those confusing feelings and continued trudging my feet towards the big gate of my new school. It was going to be a long day for sure, and it wasn't going to be easy, I thought to myself. I felt all eyes on me as I entered, but soon, people changed their gaze to that mysterious boy I saw earlier as he got off his bike and took his helmet off. All the girls started to crowd and gawk at him like he was a celebrity, but "what for exactly" I questioned myself as I just stood there.
That's when I saw him and why the girls went crazy. For a second, my heart even fluttered at his looks. I swear he looked in my direction, but he soon started walking with what seemed to be a cocky grin on his face like he knew he got me hooked from that moment on. I continued walking on, hoping that I would find the main office to get my locker and schedule information. I felt someone watching every frantic move I made as I started to panic due to my lack of direction and knowledge of the campus. Classes were starting soon, and I still haven't accomplished such a basic task, but I shrugged it off and sped up my pace, hoping that would help. Eventually, I stopped feeling that someone was watching over me, which eased my anxiety, and that's when I bumped into a tall figure. The tall figure was slightly warm, which felt overly comfortable and welcoming as I was slightly pressed against the stranger. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a slight chuckle and started to raise my head in embarrassment. To my surprise, it was that boy that I saw all the girls swoon over earlier in the courtyard area.
My porcelain white cheeks started to blush in a slight pink tone as I looked into his eyes. I wondered, "why does this have to happen on my first day here" and "he must think I am very strange" but was quickly brought back to reality when the tall figure said, "My name is Johnny, you must be new here." I nodded a yes and contemplated on whether I should tell him my name or just walk away quickly to avoid more of this awkward encounter. That's when he suddenly said, "What's your name? You know you don't have to be shy with me, I don't bite" with a wink at the end. I shyly complied and started to say my name quite quietly, but all that would come out was "M-m-my name is T-T-Taeyong," which made me want to mentally slap myself. He let out another light chuckle, which made my cheeks turn to a darker shade. Suddenly I felt him step closer to me, so I subconsciously started to step back but little did I know, I ended up getting trapped against the wall with him hovering over me and his arm near the left side of my head. He then whispered in my ear, "don't be shy, it makes you even cuter and irresistible to me." I stood there, shocked at what he just said. It felt like time stopped as I stared at his chocolate brown eyes and decided on whether he was playing with me or being sincere.
Before a crowd gathered around us to see what was going on, I moved out from where I was and started to walk away. That's when I heard, "you know the main office isn't that way, right?" I could feel the cocky smirk plastered on his face as my back was facing him. A hand grabbed my arm and started to lead me the opposite way, and I just accepted it. I was going to stop him, but it wouldn't be of any use because he could easily dominate me in an instant without even trying. Soon enough, we were standing in front of the main office building with his hand still grasping my arm and others staring at the skin to skin contact that was being portrayed at the moment. I turned to say a quick "thank you" but instead got interrupted with a slight tug to continue walking from where we were standing just a second ago. Once we got into the office, we were greeted by a receptionist asking, "Johnny, what do you need?" I don't think she noticed me due to me being shy and standoffish or the fact that she was practically swooning over him like girls half her age were doing earlier. Johnny suddenly looked down, signaling me to say something to get her attention. I wanted too, but with Johnny standing right next to me, I still felt like I couldn't speak properly and didn't want the past to repeat itself again. I knew that eventually, I would have to be brave, but right now, I couldn't seem to get myself together as I go to speak right in front of him again. As I start to mentally prepare myself to speak audibly, I could feel his brown eyes piercing into the side of my head like he was trying to see into my soul.
I opened my mouth and mentally smacked myself again because all I could hear was my voice starting to stutter as I say "I-I-I-I'm n-n-new h-h-here" in a quiet voice but still loud enough for them to understand. That's when her head turned my way, and a slight pink tint shade cascaded her cheeks due to her embarrassment for not noticing my presence. I thought to myself that she probably thought Johnny was here for her just like any other girl's dream in this school from the looks of it. She asked for my name, and I said it perfectly fine at that time. She nodded and typed it into the computer quite fast because of the time we had left to get ready for class. As my schedule was printing, she turned to us and said: "since you and Johnny have the same classes together, why don't you just stick with Johnny, I'm sure he will be willing to show you around." She turned to face Johnny to see if he accepted the task, and he excitedly nodded with a slight and genuine smile on his face. She handed me my schedule, and Johnny and I went on our way to our first class together, but before that, he offered to show me where my locker was, and coincidentally it was right next to his.
I put all my materials I didn't need into my locker so I wouldn't have to carry around a truckload of stuff and went to close it with our first-class books tightly gripped by small feminine looking hands. I noticed Johnny was still getting ready, so I stood there quietly waiting for him. I didn't realize that I have been watching him until he closes his locker and looks at me and lightly chuckles. We started to walk, having little chats here and there about little things and about ourselves when he suddenly stopped in front of what I assumed was our first class together. It seemed like a long walk to our first class but turned into a short walk when I got caught up in daydreaming and strangely it was about the dreamy chocolate eyed boy that was walking with me. I noticed people staring at us or mostly me because they probably wondered who I was and where I came from. I just sighed and walked into class and sat down at a vacant desk that was next to Johnny. I mentally sighed thinking about how it was going to be a very long day and how I seemed to always be around Johnny. Then I had a thought that really sparked my curiosity, "was this actual fate, or am I just crazy?" I heard the bell ring and I put my materials on my desk waiting for instruction from the teacher. The teacher walked in and looked around for the new face that was supposedly in his class. His eyes finally made eye contact with mine and I could tell that he was going to make me walk up to the front of the class to introduce myself to my peers and I was right. Almost simultaneously, he called my name and told me to introduce myself. "Yes, today is going to be a very long day indeed," I thought as I got up.
