"That's not enough syrup!" Said Rain, she was the youngest one out of all of the family. Ray would wake up to the smell of bacon and eggs coming from the kitchen.
"How did you sleep?" Said his mom with a t-shirt that said "worlds best vampire" on it. All of his 27 sisters were eating at the big square table, while Ray was still half asleep. He brushed his hair and done his morning routine.
"Mom, can I go to Layla's house again?" He asked with his mouth full of bacon. Layla was his friend. She was always the type of girl that would help anyone if they were sad, or depressed. She had short brown hair that was pinned to the left side of her face. Her pink tinted cheeks were the most noticeable, since her skin was pale and creamy. Oh, and also, she's an elf."Sure, but remember, come home before midnight" Ray's Mom said while cleaning a plate, and placing it inside a cabinet.
----------------------------------------------After a few hours, Ray stopped at Layla's house. It was small, almost like a cottage, with vines growing out of the right side of it. He knocked on the door, as she opened it.
"Hi Ray!" Her lips curled into a smile, as she waved.
He looked at her, as his face started to get warm.
"Hi... So, do you want to go to my house? There's a hill right next to it so we can hang out there... " He rubbed the back of his neck. She nodded, and flashed him a bright smile. She walked next to him, glancing at him sometimes. She smiled, as she walked forward.
Cute.
----------------------------------------------
After a couple minutes they arrived at the hill. They both laid next to each other, and looked up at the sky."The stars are so beautiful, aren't they Ray?" She put her arms behind her head.
"Uhh...Yeah..Um Layla can I ask you something?"
She looked at him, and nodded.
Ray looked at her, and didn't say anything. He tilted his head up to the sky again.
"Never mind..."
She sighed quietly, and looked up.Layla's eyes reflected off of the stars, her long, pointy ears danced in the wind.
Ray's dark hair reflected from the light,
As he looked up with Layla.
