I Promise You

"he is my ex-boyfriend."

"what!?" Jisoo was totally in the shock.

Jennie turned her head away from Jisoo.

"the first time I met him was on our high school performance night."

Flashback

My friends drag me straight after lunch towards the school hall. As I saw those seniors are doing some rehearsal on the stage. We took the seat from the first row.

"OMG!! Look! It's Yoongi oppa"

"ahhh!!!! he's so handsome and swag at the same time!"

I shook my head and start reading my school report. I let out a sigh. I did bad this year. Everything was nearly the same as last year and some of them are even worse.

"Jennie! Yoongi oppa is about to start!"

I give my attention to the stage, as a guy holding on to a mic standing in the middle. He first cleaned his voice and once the music start, he did a piece of his rap, which was really cool. He stopped in the middle of the song and turn to talk to his friend, discussing about something.

"who is that?"

Everyone turn to look at me.

"Seriously Jennie? You don't know Yoongi oppa?"

I turn and saw his side face with the lights only focus on him. That moment, I can't move my eyes from him.

"Min Yoongi, he's from our school musical team. He's so talented that every music teacher like him."

"Most importantly, he is damn handsome!!!!"

"But after tonight we can't see him anymore in the school. Seniors are leaving school tomorrow."

He turn his face back and our eyes met, but he looked away quickly.

"I need to go to teacher's office."
"okay then, bye Jennie."

I left the hall.

The bell rang as usual. Everyone rush out of the room with excitement. The hall is already full of  students, parents and teachers. The backstage is busy, everyone running around and getting everything ready. In the afternoon teacher ask me to help in the backstage on the night, so that's why I'm here. 

"Hi, do you need any help? I saw that you're struggling with something"  the guy turn around and i realise that he was the guy before in the afternoon. 

"Min Yoongi?" 

He smile at me.

"my costume is too complicated, can you help?" he sound so lost but cute at same time. I had a look and help him to fix his costume. He thanked me and left in a hurry.

After the show I left when all the works were done. Suddenly someone pat on my shoulder from the back and I even jump in shock. As I heard someone laughing.

"Hi"  

"Hi"

"what's your name?"

"Jennie"

"Thank you Jennie. I got a chocolate for you" He take out the small bag of chocolate from his pocket and handed to me.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Min Yoongi."

End of Flashback

"After that we spend some time together in the holidays. And he finally confesed to me before the holiday ends."
