Chapter 4

Why should life always exist as probablity? Am I the only one facing all this? . And why should he always do this to me?. Making me talk to myself!. Which is not my usual thing.

" Now I have to face another round of question hour! " I murmured as I was walking with my hands filled with food, since I promised a treat . I started walking faster avoiding all the curious eyes, as I already got too much of limelight today. Even Luck doesn't favour you at the time you want it. Avoidng people's eyes was not a good idea. Instead I got into some more trouble.

I bumped into someone!. With that height and trunk of his, I assumed he must be a senior. Shit yes! Get ready Meera!. I thought to myself. I looked up to apologize. Luck doesn't favour you when you need it, but will definitely bang on you when you don't expect it. I realised the amount of truth in this when I saw his eyes. It must definitely be some kind of trick that my eyes are playing on me. I tried to convince my heart on this, I had to because this can never be true!. It cannot be Varun Desai, standing before me could it ?. To my surprise every thing turned out to be true. It was Varun standing before me .

" Hellooo!." He waved at my face, trying to bring me to reality.

" H-hey,I mean, I'm sorry...I-I- shouldn't have..I so sorry! " I stammered. Gosh, I sounded like a stupid lamb!.

" Hahaha!.Hey, relax Meera,It's Okay " He laughed . Every little thing about him amused me every day, like I'm seeing it for the first time. But it was the first time I heard his dusky voice . Like always I forgot that I was staring at him. Huh! I shouldn't have done that.

" Oh shit! what have I done!. " He said See, that's what I was talking about, I thought. Saying that, he knelt down to pick up something that must have tripped from his hands. Just then I notice all the food in my hands were not there anymore.

" Oh no no no! " Crap, now what am I gonna tell sruthi and others!. Definitely not what happened here.

" Meera I'm so sorry, It's all my fault! " He apologised. " God! you don't know how much I've become clumsy nowadays! " He sighed. Clumsy? seriously? I thought. Clumsy is never the word, I would or anybody else would use on him.

" That's okay " I smiled. " I'll get something else, don't bother " I tried to run away from there,before I do something stupid.

" No way, I can't let you go like this " He said. I had no clue about what he said but I liked it.

" Hey, you know what? why don't you let me treat you guys today. It's my day too isn't it. " He asked me. I did not expect that coming. I'm sure sam would even believe that there's tresure under the school building if I say, but not this. Of course I wanted to let him do it, but my mouth always betray me.

" It's okay Varun, don't trouble yourself. I'm Sure I can manage " I said but he wasn't ready to listen.

" Oh c'mon, I insist . " He said . I din't want to push any more attitude.

" Okay, if you insist. " I said Blushing.

" So tell me Meera, How is your first day going? " He tried to start a conversation,to be a little nice. A little nice,yeah right, this would make my day!.

" It was good but I din't expect classes on the first day, especially Mr.Bakshi's . " I blabbered

He laughed, Like he found it amusing. Only Sam would have given the right reaction. That reminded me, Where the hell did Sam get lost .

" How about some Ice cream? You know it might take some time for the food to come. " He said. Ice cream with Varun? This definitely must be a dream.
