It was the last day of school and i was anxious to get out of class. The bell rung and i walked out of my  class to be greeted by bill, eddie, and Richie. "Hey hotstuff!" I grinned at Richie's nickname for me, "h-h-h-hey Maddy." "Hi Madison!", Eddie was the only one who called me by my full name. "Hey guys!!" I said with a smile "where's Stan?" "I'm right here." I looked behind me to see Stanley Uris, my crush. All if the loser club knew except Stan. Previously the boys were talking about Stan's bar mitzvah. I was spaced out for most if the time but woke up right as Eddie said "they cut the tip of his dick off" i started bursting out laughing and the boys looked at i as if I were crazy. "Oops sorry, carry on." I said still laughing.
I yet again spaced out, not surprised. I "woke up" to bill saying my name and asking if I wanted to go to the barrens with them tomorrow. "Of course Billy Boy" bill rolled his eyes at my nickname, then I felt a pair of eyes on me and turned to see the one and only Stanley uris. I looked away and looked to see Betty Ripsoms mom. "She was a nice girl" I thought to myself, " Hey Mads, you alright" Stan asked me. " Yeah, I'm fine it's just do you think they will find her?" "Yeah in a ditch all decomposed covered in worm and maggots, and smelling like eddies moms underwear." "That's freaking disgusting" said Eddie. "Shut the hell up Rich." Richie raised up his hands in surrender. "You know the barrens aren't all that bad, who doesn't love splashing around in shitty water." Just then Richie got pulled back by the one and only Henry Bowers. I ran over to both of them and helped them both up. I saw bill talking to Henry, "oh no" I whispered to stan who was closest to me, "oh no indeed" after all of that we all went home.
