Shanaya Prescott is a sixteen year old normal, outgoing junior in her high school who is trying to keep her grades up like any other student while trying to survive in this whirlpool of a world.
But amongst all this she might have caught feelings for the school nerd, Noah Pierce. And not the normal feelings that wash away as the days pass. No, Ah it's much more than that. She has a proper, full on crush on the guy who has pretty much ignored her existence since the day he joined the school back in sixth grade. She has fangirled over the guy and is totally convinced that she is going marry him one day.
We all have had crushes like these, right? But very little of us actually gather up the courage to give it a try because we all just believe that what's the point of giving flame to fire which is going to extinguish in a matter of time nevertheless? Shanaya used to think so too. But after seeing the several perfect and broken relationships around herself, she realized that life is just like a hit and try game. If you succeed then voila! You just hit a jackpot but if you lose, well then losing a small game is not the end of the world right? So just hit again and try until you have your significant other in your arms, cuddled on a sofa watching an overplayed romcom yet again!
