Andrew Michaelson was and is believed to be a Mundane. But later you will find out that, that is not true.
Andrew's biological parents were Leah Michaelson and Klaus Michaelson. These children's story is not that of a happy one. Klaus was stabbed in the heart by a wooden steak. Most thought he was a mundane mistakin' as a vampire, but he was truly one. A king in fact, it's surprising it only took 435 years to kill him.
Leah was devastated but when she found out she was pregnant, everything changed. Vampire's weren't supposed to be able to reproduce. And she didn't want her child to grow up in a home of vampires that knew of Klaus' legacy, so she took the child and ran.
She eventually found shelter with another human couple with a child, an adopted baby girl. It didn't last long for she found someone else to fill in Klaus' place. A Mundane man named Albus Gray

Life was great until Albus started beating Andrew, the child. Albus beat him until he was 13, which is when his other half started to show. The pain Albus inflicted on Andrew became less of a weakness and more of a power. This was only increased when Albus turned to put his hands on Leah. Andrew could not believe his 'father' would stoop to such a level, he broke. Punching his father turned to kicking and eventually Albus was just a bloody mess on the ground. Terrified by what he'd just done, Andrew turned to his mother.
If only I could say this would be a beautiful moment but it wasn't. Albus used his last remaining breaths to break off a chair leg, and stab his 'son' in the shoulder. Andrew got up fighting the antagonizing pain in his shoulder and pushed his dad out of the three story high building. Leaving his mother and himself all alone, covered in blood. Leah couldn't believe that her child could have done such a thing so she went to the Yagraelf (yag-ra-elf) tree and erased any memory of Klaus or the killing from Andrew's mind.
Now we are here, at collage with a half breed named Andrew, and a hybrid named Sage.
