until now, what xukun told me earlier still runs in my mind. courting? what does he mean?

i went down to the kitchen with my phone and i saw mom baking. she noticed me and smiled. i smiled back.

“ amanda, good thing you're here. cookies is almost done. just sit down there and i'll call your brothers. ” she said and went upstairs. i just sat and after a while, my mom and my two brother showed up. my brothers, justin and yanjun just sat in between me. like, i'm sitting in the middle while at my right, is where justin sat and at my left is yanjun.

“ cookies is here! ” mom exclaimed happily and put the plate of cookies at the table.

while we were eating, i opened my phone and went to my conversation with xukun and i showed it to my mom and brothers. they were confused looking at me but yanjun snatched the phone and read the convo.

“ is there anything you three still haven't told me? please tell me what is the meaning of that” i said while confusedly looking at them.

and they just looked at me, sadly. still not answering my question.

“ please tell me! i'm very confused right now! ” i smashed the table with my hands while looking madly at them.

i thought they told me everything already, but i think not.

i have an amnesia before. i just woke up at the hospital bed and i saw my mom and brothers there. they told me everything from what happened. they said that i got hit by a car before that's why i can't remember anything.

until then, after i got released from the hospital, they told me already everything about my life.

until this happened. that's why i was wondering, did they kept a secret from me?

“ amanda, we still can't tell you about that. ” justin said. woah, so they're keeping secrets from me?

“ i can't believe you're keeping secrets from me. i thought you've told me everything already! but not! ” i yelled at them. mom was just looking down while brothers trying to calm me down.

“ calm down first amanda! we have a reason why we can't tell you that yet. ” yanjun said. that's it. i can't take it anymore.

i just grabbed my phone and went to my bedroom and i slammed the door. i just heard my brothers yelling my name but i don't care.

how dare they are keeping secrets from me?

i just shrugged off and i changed my clothes. i brought my car keys, money and phone and i went out. i want to go out to refresh my mind.

we saw amanda wearing a jacket and went out with her car. damn, where is she going?

“ mom, take a rest and we'll take care of our sister. ” yanjun said to mom. mom just nod and went to her room.

sigh. this is not what supposed to happen.

“ god, amanda just went out. where are we going to find her? damn it. ” i hissed and yanjun just sighed.

“ i'll talk to xukun. i'll ask him something. ” yanjun said and i just nod.

“ we should've just told amanda about it a bit earlier. this should not have happened. ” he said before he went to his room.

“ sigh. this is my fault. ”
