"So babe I was thinking we should go to the movies on Friday or something" Carter said smiling
"Uhm I Can't I have plans" I told him
"What do you mean? I'm your boyfriend you just got back in town. All I want to do is hang out with you" he said angrily
"Carter I'm sorry but my friend is going through some really bad stuff and i really need to be there for her." I lied
"Whatever" he said walking off
I feel really bad for bailing on him but I really don't want to leave Jasmine alone at that party..
Carter's POV
Cant believe Madison would bail on me like that I mean I'm her boyfriend and she'd rather go off with someone else.
Madison doesn't understand how much it hurts to wait so long to see her for her to bail .. I feel misunderstood .
"Carter are you okay?" I heard a voice called from behind me
I turned to see it was my bestfriend Matt "I'm fine , it's just Madison"
"What'd she do?" he asked "I'm over here trying to hang out with her and make plans but she'd rather go somewhere else. Then she's saying something about a friend going through some bad stuff" I say irritated
"What friend?" Matt asked "I don't know ! She's probably making all that shit up for all I know"
"Carter relax." Matt said trying to calm me down
"C'mon bro we gotta get to class" he said
Jasmines POV
"I can't believe I'm doing this" I said
"I can't either, little miss goody goody is finally ditching school. I wouldn't be surprised if this is your first time doing anything that's considered bad" he said chuckling.

"What's this A thing about?" I asked pretending as if I didn't know anything
His face hardened and he gripped his hand tighter onto the steering wheel
"Sweetheart, don't get involved into things that may get you into trouble" he said seriously
