And so the trouble started...

"Um, nothing. It's just that you two are now getting annoying. I mean at first it was cute, very cute but ... You get what I mean." I tried to explain, not trying to stir trouble, not wanting to ruin this trip.

"What you mean? I'll tell you what I understood. I understood that you don't want me to be happy. You just want to be a whining brat. Just because you are rich and you get what you want you think you can intimidate me, but guess what you can't!!!" Haliee shrieked, ready to lung.

Stephen held her back and said, "Calm down tigress. Not to destroy the birthday girl. Not before the party at least."

I was pondering over what Haliee had said and I had to admit that I was from a family with a rich background. From generations back, my family has had the most trusted doctors in Canada. So, obviously that gave us load of money and with me being the only child, I was rotten and spoiled to the core. I would get anything just by looking at it. I would get anything and everything before I even had to ask for.

Eva could feel me tense up, she quickly grabbed my hand and shot me a look saying 'Keep calm, don't do anything you would regret'
Eva leaned over and whispered in my ear,"Jenny, ignore her. Forget about her and enjoy your time."
I decided to listen to her, after all she was my true best friend.

I could feel the tension in the air and knew that this weekend was going to be extraordinary, in a bad way.
