CHAPTER ONE
-STAND UP! I SAID STAND UP!! QUICK!! James yelled.
I stood up. Everyone was laughing. I felt a drop of blood rolling down my cheek.
*ONE WEEK EARLIER*
-Diana! Diana! Were leaving in 15 minutes, make sure you're you have all your stuff! I heard my mom yell from downstairs.
I looked at my clock. Shit! I'm late! I rolled out of bed and quickly put on a pair of ripped jeans, a white shirt with a blue checkered blouse with rolled up sleeves over it and my black combat boots. I rushed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, brushed my long light-brown hair and looked into my green eyes, thinking...just thinking.
-Did you get out of bed now? my mom asked.
-Yes. I answered.
-OK, take your bag and let's go! My mom said happily.
I nodded. I didn't understand why we had to move house. I actually started to feel much better in this house and we had to leave already. It wasn't fair.
I took my bag and my black leather jacket and went outside. I saw a huge transportation truck and behind it our black Opel car, full with suitcases. I sat in the car, put music on my black iPhone and looked at my house for one last time.
We arrived at 6.00 in the afternoon. As I stepped out of the car, I saw a huge house with a garden outside. I helped my mom with bringing all the boxes in the house.
-Just leave it like this honey, your boxes have been brought upstairs. Go find your room and unpack your stuff, okay? My mom said.
-Kay. I said. I went upstairs.
The walls were coloured in blue and all of a sudden I saw a door with my name on it ''Diana Simpson''. As I opened the white door, I saw a green coloured room, with a small window on one side, and a larger one on the other side of the room. As I looked at the room, I imidiately knew where my bed and my desk would fit.
After an hour I had finished with unpacking all of my boxes and I had put all of my stuff where I wanted them. I sat on my desk feeling weird and nervous. That was probably because I had to go to school tomorrow. A new school. What if they don't like me? What if they'll hate me? What am I going to do? I wondered. After the worrying, I opened my HP laptop and logged into Facebook. All my friends had sent me a message about how much they will miss me. I chatted with my friends all night and we talked about everything we did these past years, before the hole moving thing. It was nice, feeling that connection with my friends again. At 10.30 I took a shower and went to bed at 11.00 still worried about the next day.
*THE NEXT DAY*
After I slamed on my alarm clock to stop making that stupid ''beep'' noise all the time, I rolled out of bed, put clothes on and went downstairs.
-Goodmorning mom. I said as I saw my mom coming towards me.
-Goodmorning sweetheart, did you sleep well? She asked me
-Yeah...I was mad at my mom because she never really understood what I was going through with moving.
-Are you reday for your first day at your new school? She asked me.
-Sorta... Not really. I said with a bored voice.
-Well, I 'm pretty sure you're going to be fine.
-That's what you say every time! But it's not going OK! When you and dad got divorced, we moved house like a trillion times! One time I felt great and not invisible and that was before we came here! Don't you understand? I yelled at her. She looked at me silent.
