The annoying noise of my phone vigorously vibrating against my wooden nightstand woke me up at six am, caller ID printed with a picture and a name, Kris. Groaning, I lifted my hand to slide my, still, buzzing phone.
"What?" I said bitterly, still half asleep.
"Well let's see, it's nearly eight thirty and class is 10 minutes away from starting."
"What the-" The phone separated from my cheek. The light flashed on, only to be greeted with the time on top reading eight twenty-eight.
"Shit!" I grunted. Tossing the covers off, I ran to the bathroom. Quickly brushing my teeth, pulling on jeans and tugging on a sweat shirt and managing to put my hair into a bun was always the task at eight am. It was no shocker that I managed to find myself managing the task of looking really crappy on a Monday.
I stumbled into my car, throwing my backpack, which is quite heavy, into the seat beside me. Driving out of my apartment parking lot, I managed to drive into my college campus and run into class, hoping with all my heart, my teacher won't notice I'm late.
Tip-toeing into the classroom, I found a million eyes staring at me. "Miss Montoya, very nice of you to come to class today."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Eriksen. It won't happen again." I turned my head and wormed myself into my desk. So much for sneaking in, Aaron.

"I told you!"
"I know I know, shut up will you."
"I told you that you should have woken up when I told you too. Didn't I say you'd be late?" Kris went on and on about my lateness, her hand picking up food that went along the line. Her lips moved to say words, and her fingers held cash out to the lady at the end of line.
"Okay, Kris. I get it, I was late. Can you shut up? Please." I smirked.
"Whatever."
I took my tray off the line, after paying, and watched Kris walk down the restaurant and grab the table with our closest friends.
"Whaddup!" Eden yelled.
"Hey!" I sat down and following me was Kris.
"Brailyn, Brailyn, Brailyn!" Kris repeatedly, and annoyingly, yelled.
"Yes, Kris!" She laughed.
"Could I have your tea?" Kris begged.
Brailyn smirked, "In the 3 years I've known you, I have never given you my tea, and I never will."
Her laughter filled the table, as well as Kris' endless bickering over that stupid tea.
Eden was a guy that I had met this year in photography, he was a new kid at Michigan State. Me and him had become really good friends, later on he met Kris, and we had become photography and lunch buddies. He is someone who isn't ashamed to be them self, he's someone who's out there, so naturally we invited him to our daily lunch outside of campus.
Brailyn, on the other hand, we both have known her for 3 years. We met her in our junior year in high school at Oceana High School. She was a girl who was shy and quiet, had quite a passion for sweet tea as well as alternative music. She was something else, something unique. Even in my sophomore year of college, I haven't met anyone like her.
"That is not fair, Kris!" Brailyn yelled.
"Why don't you come and get it, princess!" Kris teased.
"Kris, c'mon. Can I have my tea?" Her elbow was leaning on the table, her hand reaching out for the tea that was thrown between Kris' hands.
"You're such a buzzkill!" Kris joked, her laughter got louder once the tea was thrown in mid-air towards Brailyn.
