"Finally!" shouted my elder siblings.

"Well, whatever it is can wait until we get these drunks of our backs!" I shouted back at them, pushing past and tearing the flyer my brother and sister were staring at from the wall. We were currently being chased by some highly drunk men who claimed they wanted to 'rid the world of all freaks'. Suddenly, my sister grabbed me and gently shoved me into W.D's arms as we ran away, expertly hiden in a dark, damp alleyway.

Then, out of nowhere, a cloaked woman came to us. "Follow me. I can provide you with food and a place to stay, for as long as you need." she said. Anne and W.D cautiously stepped in front of me while I clung onto their hands desperately. I may be 16, but I was still scared. They were the only family I had left. They walked slowly, shaking. They were worried that this woman would lead us somewhere and tie me up to watch them get beaten.

We thought of all the excuses we could use to escape her when she bought us into an abandoned warehouse. "Don't worry, children. We aren't there yet." After another minute of walking, we came into a ran-down but cosy-looking apartment. "You can stay here, but two of you will have to sleep on the couch." the woman said. "Me and W.D will sleep on the couch, but where will Em sleep? And you, madame."

"Your sister can sleep in the bedroom and I will sleep in the attic. But, please, call me Nazrin." she answered. "No, you don't need to! I can sleep in the attic!" I insisted. "No, I will sleep in the attic. You need to have a good rest." "Okay, if you insist."

~*~*~THE NEXT WEEK~*~*~

"Come back here after the meeting! Remember, you can stay here for however long you want to! And good luck!"

We had just looked through the flyer. It said:

                                              UNIQUE PERSONS

                                                  ------AND------

                                                      ODDITIES

                                                WITH CURIOUS

                                             AND DARING ACTS

Of course, we NEEDED to get payed, so why not get money doing something I love: Trapeze! I have been having lessons from Nazrin, who instantly became like a second mother to us. So much for thinking she'd beat us!

"WE DID IT! WE GOT A JOB!"
