The End Of Riley (The Next Step)

Back in A Troupe

It has been 2 weeks and Today is my first day back in A troupe since Nationals. I still feel guilty but that's not going to make me go back to B troupe again or anything at all. Emily drove me to the studio. She told me that there was going to be something that I wouldn't like too much in A troupe. I was about to walk into studio A when Michelle and James stopped me.

"Hey, you might want to prepare yourself before you walk in there." James said with concern.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because something in there your not going to like one bit." Michelle answered.

"Emily said the same thing on the car ride over. It scared me a little because we never talk to each other anymore since you became dance captain." James and Michelle just looked at me, so I decided to walk in studio A. As soon as I walked in everyone looked at me. I looked around the room to see what I wouldn't like and then I saw it. There standing in the corner was Hunter and Beth. I couldn't believe it. How could Kate let them join? Especially since she knows what happened at Nationals. I was so angry. I felt like crying again but I couldn't because Kate would send me back to B troupe. I had to find Kate, emediently. I went to Kate's office. I stormed in.

"HOW COULD YOU LET HUNTER AND BETH JOIN A TROUPE?"

"Riley, calm down. Why are you so angry that I let them Join The Next Step?"

"WHY AM I SO ANGRY? HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW? MICHELLE TOLD YOU WHAT HAPPENED AT NATIONALS." I was angry. I was so angry that I was shouting at Kate.

"Yes, Michelle did tell me what happened at Nationals. But how does Hunter and Beth fit into it?"

"Wait if you don't know how Hunter and Beth fit into it then what did Michelle tell you?" I wasn't as angry this time but I was really confused.

"Michelle told me that you and Emily were getting worse at home and that she yelled at you in the dressing room. So you just lost it and ran outside and started crying. So that's why you weren't dancing to your best at Nationals is because you were still really shaken up from yours and Emily's fight. That's why you were put in B troupe for a few weeks so that there would be space between you 2." Kate explained.

"Really, well that's not what actually happened."

"Well then what actually happened?" Kate asked me.

I explained to Kate what happened.

"Then, why did Michelle lie to me?" Kate asked.

"Probably because I asked her not to tell anyone not even you."

Kate understood and said she'll she what she can do about Hunter and Beth. I walked out into the studio. I could see Beth and Hunter flirting with each other. I was really annoyed. The class started we had a new formation for a local dance competition coming up. I was put in the middle row and Emily didn't seem to happy about that since she was also in the middle row and she thinks its all my fault that we lost Nationals. We Practised the dance and just had heaps of fun. We had so much fun I almost forgot who was in the room. After class Emily and I drove home.
