Chapter 2 : The One Who Got Away

No POV
Everyone was watching as the match commenced. The nerves around the room were tense and no one dared said a word especially Pamela. Everyone knew their time together back in NXT and how well they worked. It wasn't hard for people to see that there was some type of chemistry going on but back then she was taken by Aaron.
"Guys I know we all are shocked to see Finn but I have to admit something," Rami said with a nervous chuckle.
"What could you know that we don't know about Finn," Mercedes stated with an agitated voice. Leah stood and pulled Mercedes back before she could hit Rami.
"W-well me and Rebecca k-kinda knew Finn was coming back already but didn't say anything, sorry but we just couldn't and because he didn't want us too ."
"Yeah sorry bout that, especially to Pam."
"What why me I didn't know about any of this?"
"W-well we just thought you guys were dating and m-maybe you'd-."
Just before Rebecca could finish that sentence Mercedes screamed causing them to all jump. They looked at her smiling as she was watching the screen.
"What Seth just hit the sling blade aka Finn's move."

BAYLEY POV
I stood hearing Rami and Rebecca explain the news. I couldn't believe them especially Finn I was someone he could tell this type of thing too. I'm his best friend I thought we tell everything to each other I guess not. We all sat down and watched the remaining of the match.
"And Finn Bálor going to the top of the rope. Is he thinking of," Cole exclaimed really loud.
"AND FINN WITH A COUP DE GRÂCE. 1...2...3, FINN BALOR HAS JUST PINNED THE CHAMPION."
"WELCOME HOME FINN BÀLOR." Corey stated with a smile.
We all cheered hugging one another as we celebrated Finn and Seth winning, as we see their hands being raised high up in the air by the referee. My smile faded as I remember earlier...
"AND YOU CAN'T TEACH THAT !!!"
We all laughed as we heard Enzo say his catch phrase. I stood up and looked at everyone no one noticing that I left the room heading towards the women's locker room but happen to run into Colby. I noticed his hair in a mess and he was breathing hard water bottle in hand, couldn't help but giggle.
"Hey Pam have you seen Merc gotta ask her something ?" I smile and pointed toward the opposite direction.
"Colby if you're gonna ask her out then to be frank she likes you back...just don't hurt her please." I ran away from him tears brimming in my eyes as I pass all the other superstars. Everyone looked at me but not dare ask if I was ok except Austin and Renee. I made it to the locker needing to be alone...
FINN POV
After that match my body was aching but I was happy to be back. Especially with a match against Kevin & Joe. I walked towards the room everyone was in. I was not excited more thrilled to see everyone...especially Pam. I haven't seen her since NXT and my injury prevented me, especially Aaron he was jealous of me and Pam hanging out so he told her to stay away from me and listened. But now none of that mattered, I made it to the room and knocked. Enzo opened and smiled...
"Well look at what we got over here, a certified demon." I laughed as I hugged him and everyone else.
"So Ferg how was rehab considering that it might've been boring ?" Rebecca asked me with a concern in her voice. I look at her with a smile
"It was grueling and hard to handle but in the end it was all worth it I'm the end." I smiled remembering how nice the trainers were to me.
"Hey has anyone seen Pam, she's gone," Peyton nervously laughed with a scared face.
"Guys how did we not notice this before, god we're bad friends," Leah looked down ashamed of herself for not realizing it sooner.
" I'll go find her she's probably in the locker room." I got up and headed out of the room running towards the locker room. I passed The New Day, Sheamus & Cesaro, and Alicia Fox asking if she was there. All of them saying yes. I thanked them and kept walking.
15 min later
After frantically searching I found the locker room. As I was about to enter I hear the strumming of a guitar and a beautiful angelic voice singing...
"I was June and you were my Johnny Cash
Never one without the other, we made a pact
Sometimes when I miss you, I put those records on, whoa."
I stood there listening to the voice knowing it was hers. I realized who the song she was singing for was...it was for me...I just stood there with my head hung on the door just waiting for a good moment to walk in and surprise her.

I smiled as memories flooded my mind of meeting her for the first time in NXT. I saw her with the little bow in her hair and walking around smiling and hugging everyone she saw. Ha I remember when we both did each other's entrances, it was the best thing I'd ever done. Well other than my championships. I was about to leave when I tripped over some wire making me fall backwards and making a huge thud.
NO POV
Finn hit the canvas as he tripped over a set of wires. Curiosity struck Bayley as she stopped playing her guitar and stood up from the bench looking at the door.
"H-hello is someone there ? Come on if it's you Sash then this isn't funny."
She heard shuffling and footsteps walking away. She carefully walked to door open only to find nobody. She sighed a breath of relief and sat back down on the bench wondering and hoping the person at the door didn't hear her. She hasn't ever told anyone she sang sort of a way for her to escape the darkness of her depression. (A/N: another chapter sorry can't have you knowing yet).
"PAM YOU IN HERE WE'RE ALL WORRIED ?"
"Yeah I'm ok Mella, you can come in if you want."
Carmella walked in and saw her eyes puffy and red. She stayed silent and walked over hugging her likes there's no tomorrow. 5 min later the rest of the girls came and did the same thing. No one said a word to know what Pam needed. They all knew she needed time and they were gonna give it to her...

A/N: Hope you all enjoyed this chapter and don't worry the next chapter will be out soon but it will take a little bit longer due to me having to do school work and projects but yes I will continue working on this book and if anyone has any suggestion for this book PLEASE do not be afraid to comment them and I'll use them in my story.
