"Take Jule out. Seriously?" He said when he first saw the piece. Even in his dream, he couldn't even imagine his eminent father trying to evict his mother. As he refreshed his recollection, he remembered once he found his parents fighting. He couldn't tell whether his mom or dad caused the dispute, but he surely remembered that something was broken. Something fragile, big, most suitably a vase. The scared Aiden sat down at a corner, tried to find out the reason. When both had regained their calmness, the butler found him and told him to go to bed. He looked at the clock. 10 p.m
10 p.m. Aiden intriguedly thought about that moment. Every 10 o'clock in the evening, little Aiden was woken up by a sound of something breaking. But after that, he just went back to sleep. He is told to sleep before 9 in the evening so he could be healthy and ready to wake up at 6 in the next day. Is it able that they were fighting every night, at 10? Why the time?
He walked away from home 3 days after his father's funeral. His first resolution was to solve the note his father left. In other words, to avenge. Avenge anyone who could possible lead his father astray and push him to death.
His first destination, was his grandmother's house. Aiden's mother's father remarried after her maternal mother pegged out since 1988. The new wife's name is Rebecca. She is even younger than Jule, yet older in appearance. She had been leading a lonesome life since Dane, Aiden's grandfather, died in 2007. Although Aiden could easily visit Rebecca at anytime owing to the propinquity between his and Rebecca's house, his parents never wanted to.
-'Hi Rebecca', Aiden said, on walking into the house after having been under a torrential rain.
-'Aiden, right? It's been long since I last saw you. Last summer, right?'
-'I presume so. Have you seen my mom recently?'
-'Ever since your father's demise, I haven't heard anything from her'
-'Grandma, may I ask you a favor? Could I stay here for a couple of weeks?'
-'Sure, you can't. But I'm also pleased to hear the reason.'- Rebecca replied with great curiosity.
-'Well, you know, just to do some stuff that I've never have done before. I've been down in the dumps, so may be you can help me a bit'
-'Yeah, sure if you have anything to ask for, call me for help'
-'Thanks, grandma'
Aiden decided to stay, willing to bury his mother's past. He believed there needed to be something about the relationship between his parents.
One day, he actually found a letter. A letter unsent, written since 1999. To 'Gerard Castell'. He opened the letter.
'I'm happy for you, and your wife. Love, from US'
Aiden came to ask Rebecca about the letter. She said she didn't know anything about him, but her face told something. Aiden was going to fold it back in, when he noticed something at the back page.
Blood.
