*Hotel room at night*

Annika was in deep slumber while Shivaay was staring at her intently.

Just then, she changed her position towards him.

He got up and blew all the candles away from his side table but left all the rest open because he knows Annika is scared of darkness. Settling himself back on the bed, he intertwined his hand with hers and slipped into sleep murmuring, 'I love you.'

They finally had a peaceful sleep in each other's embrace.

Rudra and Saumya both were in their bedrooms laying on their bed. They toss and turned and tried to sleep but weren't able to.

'I clearly love him!' My heart spoke to me.

'Are you crazy? He's nothing but my best friend!' My brain replied.

'Then why do I always feel complete whenever he's with me! Why do I feel jealous when he flirts with other girls! Why is he the only one I call first for help! Why do I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever he touches me! Why do I laugh like a maniac at his lame, silly jokes!' My heart revealed.

'Do I love her?' My heart asked.

'What! Totally not! She is just my best friend.' My brain denied.

'Yeah of course she is my best friend, but what if I have feelings for her?' My heart asked.

'Why think about something that is not even possible?' My brain replied.

'But I want to know why I can't see her hurt, I need to know why I get lost in her eyes sometimes, why do I consider her more than my best friend?' My heart revealed.

Both of them were sleeping facing each other and Gauri's arm was in Om's embrace.

She woke up from her sleep because of thirst. Her eyes then caught attention to their position. She tried to take her arm out of Om's hold but failed as he cuddles in even more. She again tried a few times but failed.

Surrendering, she lied down in the same position as before, even though it was quite weird since they barely ever face the same direction.

Her eyes got heavy and she fell asleep.

Annika yawned and stretched her body, relaxing her muscles. She opened her eyes as a little chunk of the sun's rays flared her eyes. She scrunched her eyes and nuzzled more into the pillow.

Her eyebrows furrowed.

She pulled the blanket off her face and found Shivaay gazing at her. She blinked and pulled up a smile. Shivaay reciprocated her gesture. He kissed her on the forehead ever so protectively and she gave a bright smile.
