Chapter 19

*Your pov*
After I left the dance with Lui, he took me out for some frozen yogurt. "Look y/n, Jonathan fucked up, but he does love you. He doesn't like it when Evan or anyone else is near you. He's overprotective with you. You're the only one that he's been overprotective with. I guess you mean a lot to him, so if I were you I wouldn't push him away so much." I looked out the window thinking about what Lui said. I have been pushing Jonathan away a lot, but it's not my fault, I don't want to end up getting hurt again. I sighed as I ate my yogurt. Lui placed his hand on mine and smiled at me. I smiled back and stared in his brown eyes. After I was done eating my yogurt, I went to the bathroom. I forgot that I was still wearing my dress since people were staring at me and Lui weird. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Jonathan talking to Lui. I didn't know what to do so I just walked pass by them and went to my car. I saw them walking out to my car still talking. I got out and told Lui that I was going to go home. "Wait y/n why don't you wait for me and Jonathan?" I looked at him for a moment then glanced at Jonathan. "Uh, I don't know Lui I'm kinda tired, also I wanna take this dress off, the dance is over I wanna go home." I lied about being tired, I just didn't want to wait for Jonathan. He looked at Jonathan and sighed. "Look y/n, please wait for us. Jonathan wants to hangout with us at your place. So just give us five minutes, please." I rolled my eyes but nodded my head anyway. I sat in my car waiting for Lui and Jonathan. I guess he took a shower, he smelt pretty good. Different actually, from what he smelled like at the dance. I sighed as I just sat in my car. After five minutes of waiting, Lui and Jonathan finally came to my car. Jonathan sat in the front with me, which kind of bothered me, but it didn't matter I just wanted to go home. I started my car and drove off to my house. When we got there, I pulled up in the driveway and noticed a car there. I quickly got out and checked the car. It was Tylers so I guess he and Kyle were here. I went over to my front door and saw Kyle and Tyler making out. "Woah, guys I have rooms you know?" I couldn't help but interrupt their make out session. Kyle giggled and got up. "Haha very funny y/n, you just interrupted the most sweetest thing ever." I giggled and unlocked my door. "Well, come on in guys....and Jonathan." As I let them in, Jonathan stopped and pulled me back outside. "Look y/n, take back the bracelet please. I got it for a reason and that reason is because I love you. I still have your gift, so you should just keep mine. Please." I looked at him with confusion on to why he wanted me to keep his bracelet after all the shit I told him. I sighed and looked him deeply in the eyes. "Jon, why do you do this?" He looked at me confused. "Do what?" "You always try to talk to me after you mess things up or even if I'm trying to push you away from me. You always come back and try to fix things but, I always end up pushing you away. It's a waste of time and effort so why bother on trying to fix things?" I sat down on the steps in front of the door. I sighed as I felt a hand placed on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Jonathan standing above me with a small smile. I looked back down at me feet and got up. "Come on Jon, I'm hungry." We went inside and Kyle started playing a song. "Dance! Dance! Dance!" I looked at her confused then at Tyler. I walked over to him only to hear him laugh. "What's so funny?" "Kyle wants you and Jonathan to dance. She wants to record it." I couldn't believe that Kyle still wanted to see me and Jonathan dance. I sighed and went to put on some pajamas. Kyle followed behind me and asked for a pair. I gave her some shorts and a baggy tank top. She changed in my bathroom so I could change in my room. I put on some black joggers with a pink long sleeve shirt. I put my hair in a bun and took off my makeup. After I was done putting on my pajamas and taking off my makeup, Kyle came out. She put her hair in a ponytail and took her makeup off as well. We complimented each other and laughed, then went downstairs. We saw Lui, David, and Brian still in their suits. "Hey y/n, me and the guys are gonna go home and change. We'll be back." I smiled and nodded my head. "Okay Lui, I'll order us pizza when you guys come back." He smiled back and came to hug me. We hugged for about 5 minutes until we heard Jonathan clear his throat. We stopped hugging and looked at him. "Well, we'll see you guys in a bit Lui." I glared at Jonathan. Lui just nodded his head and left with David and Brian behind him. I looked at the door for about a minute then looked back at Kyle. She was by the tv trying to put music on. She put on a song by Taylor Swift. She started dancing with Tyler and left me standing with Jonathan. I could feel him staring at me so I walked away into the kitchen. I grabbed a can of soda and went back to the living room. I glanced at Jonathan and he looked away. I sighed as I went out to my backyard. I sat by the pool and just dipped my feet in the water. I was kicking my feet until I heard Kyle coming out. "Hey, why are you out here by yourself?" I took a deep breath and drank my soda. "I don't know Kyle, I just want to be alone for right now." She looked at me and plopped down next to me. "You're not gonna be alone. EVER! I'm here for you y/n, so is Tyler. Jonathan's willing to be there too you if you let him. He's inside talking to Tyler about something. Just give him a good chance. He may seem like a dick, but when he's with you, he's a completely different person. Take him in your life y/n. Don't screw it up with him." I put my soda down and took my feet out of the water. "Look Kyle, there's something I haven't told you." She took her feet out of the water and turned to face me. "What do you mean y/n?" I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "I've had a boyfriend before and it didn't turn out to be good." She looked so interested in what I had to say. "Tell me everything please." I giggled and told her that we should go by the fireplace to make some s'mores. She nodded and we went to the kitchen to get graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. We ran back outside and started the fire. We made s'mores as I was ready do tell her a story. "Okay well I had this boyfriend, his name was Ryder. When we first started dating, he treated me with respect and loyalty. He acted as if I were his queen, until one day he started acting different. He started acting like a completely different person. He turned into a dick and treated me like shit. I didn't let it get to me until one day, he hit me." She gasped and looked back and saw Tyler walking with Jonathan. They sat by us and let us keep talking. She then spoke up. "So he hit you like how Jonathan did, only on purpose." I nodded my head. "Yeah exactly and I know Jon didn't mean to hit me, he was trying to get Evan off of me. Anyway, Ryder hit me in front of the whole school and everyone laughed. I got up and kicked him in his ball sack and ran off. He had his friends chase after me and once they got me, one of his friends tried to fuck me and beat me after. They left me there until I called my dad to pick me up. When he came, he saw what happened but didn't know about one of his friends trying to fuck me. I told him though so he got really pissed and went to Ryders house, then his friends houses and started a problem with them. They're all in jail right now. But after all that, I've been getting in trouble for my so called 'friends'. After I told them I didn't want anything to do with them, they beat me up too. That's why my dad wanted us to move. He doesn't want me getting hurt again by a boy or friends. Ryders been cheating on me with my friends and he abused me and threatened to kill me. That's why I push Jonathan away because I'm afraid to believe someone and let them walk in my life. That's also why I'm lonely." I ate my s'more after talking about my ex. Kyle looked upset and came to hug me. Then Tyler came and hugged us both. I glanced at Jonathan and told Kyle that I was going to sit next to him. She smiled and nodded. I sat by Jonathan and kissed him. I never knew he would be willing to do anything to be with me, but I'm pretty happy about it.
