red.
That's most likely her favorite color I said to myself. She came in and stood at the front of the room scanning our excited faces. I was in awe. She stood to about the height of my chest. Yet she commanded dominance. Her red hair was cascading down her shoulders. The vibrant color of something that could only be called Poison Ivy's red hair. Her name seemed to call out to me. Ms. Lang
I didn't think much about her words. It was her talking about rules and things. One thing I noticed was she was lingering her stare on me. Something most adult men would do to me.
I was in no way shape or form crazy attractive. I was just an emotionally unstable 8th grader. Yes, maybe my body measurements are "to die for" or "Kylie Jenner might get self conscious if she ever saw me". But I hated talking about my body ever. Her eyes roamed my body either enticed or confused. My outfit was black jeans, a Japanese flag shirt and Japanese taby boots.
She was wearing a nice shirt, slacks, and jewelry that was simple and gold. Then I saw her hand and she explained she's engaged to be wed. Her ring had so many diamonds and was so large. It didn't bother me because I had someone who cared and made me feel great.
She continued talking and I realized a lot about her. She's a nerd at heart, she loves the Star Wars franchise, great at memorizing, was getting married around the time of my birthday, her husband was really romantic, and she was really good at makeup. As everyone went around asking her more questions I felt the need to ask her something as well, but I couldn't be any less shy. She answered questions then explained that we would be in her room for most of the day than any other teacher. That excited me.
My one best friend, Emily, was a really outgoing person and usually this would draw attention to me and then teachers would stare at me...and her but it always felt like I was always mostly being payed attention to. When me and Ms. Lang made eye contact that day we almost had the look that saw into the future.
I went to lunch and brushed the idea of her off and ignored it because I am completely straight and I have a boyfriend who cares. I would never cheat and I ignored her stares for months. Until I broke.
I hope y'all like the first chapter and please let me know about any errors because I'm super lazy to re-read everything. \~•~/... also this book might be triggering to some people. So everyone have a good day and eat well!
