We ordered our coffee and all sat down together outside. Me and Isabelle were enjoying our coffee so much you heard a "mmm" every now and again. I was looking around outside with my cup to my lips and I heard a *Click* I stayed in ohmy position and just smiled and I heard another *Click* I looked over at Jackson who was smiling so big !
"This may sound weird, but do you know how peaceful and happy you look when you're in nice breezy whether and you're drinking your coffee ? Really, Is the answer. You seem to be beautiful no matter what you wear, no matter what you do.."
"Awe.. Jackson That's So Sweet. it really is, you honestly are the best friend a girl could ask for. I Love you, pain."
"And I Love you too, you little brat."
"Alright love birds. cut the crap. lemme see the pictures you took of Cass, Jackson."
"Oh yeah I took one of you too, you little nagger, you just didn't realize it. Cassidy was probably expecting it."
"Jackson the photographer, My best friend. Atta Boy !"
He went to his camera gallery and showed the picture of Belle first.
Her long Auburn hair was blowing in the wind slightly behind her, one leg crossed over the other in regular dark blue skinny jeans, with her black off the shoulder shirt, lightly breezing above her skin from the wind as well. Her light pink lips slightly parted as she held her cup just right in front of her, while her elbows rested on the table. You could see where she drank her coffee, because there was a pink lipgloss spot on the lid. The only makeup Belle ever really wore was bottom eye liner, mascara, Which brought out her brown eyes, and her signature pink lipstick. Isabelle never needed foundation or blush she was already so beautiful. The picture was just perfect, bright blue sky with big puffy white clouds. Cars to the right of the picture but none close enough to see the passengers inside which made it look even more professional.
"Wow Belle.. You look beautiful"
I looked up at her and she was just looking at the picture in amazement. She seemed so fascinated with Jackson's little snap shot. Jackson has been on this photography thing since he hit 7th grade. He has so many beautiful pictures of me and Isabelle that we'll most likely cherish forever. Didn't matter what we'd be wearing or if we had makeup on or not, the pictures he took always seemed to make us look like models in the making. He really was born to be a photographer and he loved doing it.
"Alright you guys let's look at Cassie's two pictures now and there would only be one if she hadn't of smiled."
He pushed the arrow on his Camera to the first picture he took of me. I never seemed to look like myself on his camera. But there I was, long brown hair and hair blonde underneath from when me and Belle got it professionally Done together. simple top eye liner and light brown eye shadow that brought out the brown in my eyes. Back all the way to the chair, knees both pulled up just inches away from my chest in tight white jeans. Coffee cup to my lips, eyes looking out to, What seemed like nothing but the beautiful blue sky. Mid sleeved, black button up dress shirt and you could see just a piece of my silver chained necklace. When I seen this in the picture I reached to pull it out of my shirt and just held it and smiled.
The necklace Jackson got me for my 16th birthday. A heart shape birthstone, my ruby birthstone. I smiled and looked up at Jackson who already was looking at me and already knew what I was thinking. I was remembering when he gave it to me.
It was June 22nd and I threw a pretty big party so a good bit of people were there. Well my boyfriend of 6 months had been there and he had broken up with me that night. I was super tore up. Jackson found me sitting on my front porch crying my eyes out and he talked to me told me that Anthony hadn't been worth it and that Anthony was a douchy name anyways. I had crawled up into Jackson's lap as time passed by and after I had stopped crying and he got me to laugh for the first time , he reached into his pocket and pulled out a little box and placed it in my hand. And when I had opened it I saw the red ruby birthstone heart. He placed his chin on my shoulder so that he could see the box in my hands. He took the necklace out and whispered
May I ? In my ear. I laughed and shook my head 'yes' as he slipped the necklace around my neck and latched it.
