It was hard living with her following me. No one else can see her, except me, and others of.. Her "kind'.
I dont know when or how she got attached to me. When I was five, I was playing in some mud when she came over to me and started talking. She seemed so nice, but when I went inside, she followed me. My mother told me that strangers dont belong inside the house without her knowing, so I told her. 'Oh, is this your invisible friend?'I snapped back into current time, thinking about what had my Cousin in a car. My aunt told us to run to the store quickly, and come back so we could bake cookies. My parents worked in business all the time, and were kinda freaked out to notice I have a 'imaginary' friend, still at the age of 13. (My aunt hadnt seemed to mind, and thats why she took me in. My parents probably seem me as a sick freak.) Sure it wasn't normal, but what also wasnt normal was the small pre teen following me litteraly everywhere I go. I mean, except for the bathroom. She kinda freaks me out sometimes, but when all my friends leave me, and we move again, she comforts me.
Ive crossed out supernatural things, she can't make deals at all. She can't even remember a single thing I say, so. I say not a demon. They can physically touch me, and touch other things, but if she holds a pillow up in the air, it looks like nothing to other people, and like the pillow is still on the bed. Definitely not a ghost.
Id be surprises if she was a angel, cause she can go off on someone with cuss words. Thank god they can't hear her. Then again, when things turn for the worst, like when I was in a car crash at 8, and I nearly died, I looked up to see blood dripping from her nose, and her staring at me. When bullies hurt me at school, she can sometimes manage to kick them just once. She described trying to throw energy at a person like staying up for a whole 24 hours.
I snap back to reality, to find my strawberry haired friend gently rested against my shoulder. Just because she a nuisance doesn't mean I don't love her. She has protected me through thick and thin. Someone, who dispite our fights, and all our struggles, she doesn't seem to mind still hugging me and staying around.
We have little communication signs to tell each other if we're listing, but can't talk to each other. She's the only one I have. I can feel warmth throughout my body, shielding the winter. My Dixie.
(I hoped you enjoyed this chapter! I will still be updating 'Slowly Turning' but I will take a break from that fO r n o W. I will return to it, okay? Anyway vote and comment if you liked it. I'll probably manage to pump out a chapter every week. Maybe. And maybe not 500 freaking words--)
