Zayn rolled off of Louis and Harry's brown couch and hit the ground with a thud.

"Ugh" he groaned. It was too early to be up. As he repositioned himself on the couch, he thought he heard the coffee machine running in the kitchen. Who the devil is making coffee at this ungodly hour?

Zayn knew he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep anyways, so he walked towards the kitchen to investigate. He saw Harry leaning up against the marble counter tops, cup of coffee in hand. His eyes were shrunken in from lack of sleep and his chin was bristly from not shaving for five days. He looked like he would pass out any second.

"Well, this is a first" Zayn said.

"This is the third time I've gotten up early this week, mate" Harry answered.

"What?"

"I mean to say that I'm suffering from a wild case of insomnia, mate."

"What do you suppose is the cause?"

"Haven't the foggiest idea. All I know is that I've been falling asleep around one and waking up around three every day this week. I've had a mad desire to write songs every day, and when I look at them the next day they look like rubbish. I don't know what's going on with me, mate!" Harry exclaimed quietly.

"Wow. Seems tough. How about we get out of here, get some tea instead of this crap coffee and go visit Kiyomi? It will get your mind off things and it's a long day away from the boys."

Harry was hesitant at first after finally agreeing. "I'll call Juvy and you leave a note for the boys."

"I think I might stop in and see Vivian for a few minutes as well, so you should mention that." Harry grinned at him cheekily but dialed the number anyways.

Zayn proceeded to write a note to the boys about where they had gone and when to expect them back.

"All right mate? They say yes?" he asked Harry. Harry nodded.

"Let's go get dressed" Zayn replied. They entered Harry's bedroom where Zayn kept his clothes while they were staying over to record the new album. He opened his suitcase and pulled out a gray t-shirt and a purple Letterman jacket. He slipped these on then pulled on his favorite pair of jeans. He gelled his hair, brushed his teeth, applied deodorant then let Harry have the bathroom. Ten minutes later they were ready to go.

It was 7:30.

Zayn yawned massively as he sat down in Harry's car and buckled his seat belt. He found his pair of sunglasses in the glove compartment and put them on, then handed Harry his pair. Harry put in the key and drove to a quaint little cafe in town. They stepped out, expecting to be mobbed any second, but thankfully the shop wasn't very busy. Only one girl recognized them and all she did was ask for a photo, which they willingly gave to her, and then she left them alone.

"How may I help you?" the barista asked.

"I'll take a large Yorkshire tea and two scones" Harry said.

"I'll have a large green tea and a cinnamon raisin toast" Zayn said.

"Coming right up" the barista said as she took their money. Zayn and Harry sat down at a table towards the back of the shop, slumping low in their chairs trying to remain incognito.

"Here you go!" the barista said as she set down the tray with their tea. There were two giant teacups, which the boys reached for eagerly and started sipping like mad. Nothing like a warm cuppa on a cold morning, Zayn thought.

"So do you like Kiyomi?" Zayn asked.

"Course I do! I wouldn't want to be seeing her if I didn't!" Harry responded.
