23. NEIL IS THAT JERK?!!!

Arjun has been watching the video of the engagement function for the 3rd time but each time he came back empty handed. He was about to shut it down when he noticed something unusual in the background. A waiter was talking to someone. It was not an unusual scene but the demeanor of that person was suspicious. He was looking around as if he wanted to hide what he was doing. The person whom he was talking to was not visible as only the waiter could be seen and the other person was standing behind a huge pillar. Then the person behind the pillar gave some money to the waiter. The hand of that person had bangles making it clear that it was a woman.

Then the next moment the camera was taken off them. Arjun frustratingly sighed and watched further. He saw the waiter in the background serving drinks. There was nothing unusual there. Arjun saw Nandini taking one glass from him and then Radhika was given one. After that the video was zooming in on Sam and Neil who were talking with Ankush. Neither Radhika nor that waiter were present in further shots. Then soon the video came to an end.

Arjun went into his thoughts. He have got nothing solid to accuse the waiter but there could be a chance that he was involved. He didn't have anything better to go forward with. Unless he get some other leads he decided to look into this waiter and his suspicious behaviour.

While at another side of the house, Radhika felt like her head was going to burst. She kept on thinking only one thing.

Is Neil in love with Sam?

Sure..... Sam and Neil had a different dynamic, a different equation, to them. They were closer than friends but less than a couple. They were somewhere in between. In fact everyone knew this other than those two idiots.

She was thinking about all these and pacing around in her room when she collided with something hard. She irritatedly looked at the obstruction to her path, only to find Arjun looking down at her.

She just shrugged off his questioning gaze and continued her 'oh so important' pacing. Arjun became quite grumpy seeing her attention on something other than him and again got in front of her, blocking her path once again.

But this time Radhika didn't even looked at him, she just stopped her pacing and stood there, lost in her thoughts.

Arjun looked even more grumpy when he asked, "What are you so lost in?"

Radhika replied without even looking at him, "love"

It will be an understatement to say Arjun was shocked.

Arjun, "WHAT?!!"

His shout got Radhika out of her musings and she looked at him finally.

Radhika, "Why are you shouting?"

Now Arjun was lost in his thoughts.

She said love.... love.... LOVEEE!!! That means she loves me?!!!!! Of course, what else can it mean? Wait, what if....... what if she loves someone else?!! NOOO.... That can't happen. She won't even be able to look at anyone else when i am in front of her. My aura will blind her eyes so that she can't look at any other jerks. But what i....

His thoughts got broken when Radhika shaked him. She looked at him, arching her eyebrows as if asking where he was lost.

Arjun, "You said love.... what love, which love...... WHOSE love?

Radhika simply shrugged and said, "Neil's"

Arjun got 440 volt shock and then his inner soul shouted..... NEIL IS THAT JERK?!!!

Arjun controlled his reaction and said, " what do you mean by 'Neil's'?"

Radhika looked at him for sometime and then took hold of his hands and dragged him to her bed. She gave him a push due to which he half fell on the bed.

Poor Arjun was getting shock upon shock. Radhika.... this bold, his inner soul again asked. But even through the shock, laddoos where bursting in his mind.

Radhika simply sat beside him and said, "Don't you think Neil loves Sam?"

Arjun was still in his dreams when he replied, "oh yeah, that idiot is definitely in love with Sam."

Radhika squealed excitedly which woke up Arjun from his thoughts. It was then that he realised her question and he sighed in relief.

Radhika told him all that Sam said to her and in return Arjun also told her about his conversation with Neil.

Radhika pouted at Arjun, "Won't you help me in making those idiots realise and bring them together?"

And Arjun being the love sick person he is just agreed while also cursing his fate that this girl in front of him can see everyone else's love story but theirs.

Radhika got so happy with his answer that she simply hugged him. He again got shocked but then he too wrapped his arms around her, smiling contently and thanking god for small favors.

I know you all are angry with me for not updating even after promising to update. I am sorry for that. Now, there is a big news.... i am shifting to Pune next month as i got admission for PGDM and am a lot busy with those works. Hope you all like this update.
