Brother to Boyfriend

Owens POV
Emily made her way out of the room she was kinda smiling. Which is a good sign right?
"My brother wants to talk but I told him about US so I think this is a way of excepting it?" She said in the positive way.
"Okay......yeah....sure I'll go" I answered.
I was nervous ,I mean this could ruin everything our rugby "team-ship" which will mean one of us can't go on the lions tour if something bad happens. But I loved Emily so much she thinks she is a normal 24 year old but she isn't she is amazing and unique. The worst thing would be to loose her.

I made my way over to the door. My fingers wrapped round the handle. The door opened,I walked in with a smile. Not a big smile but just so you could see from close I mean I didn't want him to think I am some creep. Calm down Owen I calm down and walk over to the bed.

Jonathon's P.O.V
He walked over to my bed and sat down I stared him down. I've never quite liked him I just had to for the game. He was smiling,he had a kind face. I guess?

"So how are you?" Owen asked trying to be polite.
"Could be worse" I answered being blunt
"So do you know who did it?" Again he was making small talk but he knew what I wanted to talk about
"Ok let's cut to the chase you're dating my little sister and for that you need approval!" I said firmly
"Ok?" Owen said
"First off why did you choose Emily?"
"Well I love her she is just amazing. She's not like other girls she is funny and she loves rugby. Haha I mean what's not to love about her." Owen chuckled.

I took his answer  in slowly and I put together the clues:
The way they look at each other
How Owen smiles when he talks about Emily
How he wants to protect her from danger

I've made up my mind he has my approval but no second chances.

"Owen you have my approval" I sighed with a smile.
He grinned and shook my hand. He left to get my sister. I hugged them both they stood up hands held when our parents walked in I think they had accepted the new addition to us.

Emily's P.O.V
The doctor came in and told us that Johnny could leave as long as he rested and took the medicine.

The journey home was quiet but not the awkward way. Finally our mum spoke up.
"So Owen would you and your family  like  to come over for lunch so we can get to know each other better?"
"Ummmm....yes that would be great and they live in Dublin so it would be easy.I mean if it's not any trouble."  Owen stuttered
"No no problem at all we would love to meet your family!" My mum said enthusiastically.

As my parents and Owen continued talking about the lunch I looked over to Johnny he was gazing out the window I put my arm on his shoulder.  He looked back and smiled putting his hand on mines stayed like this until the final plans were made (like the date/time) Owen swung his arm over me and pulled me in closer. My head on his chest. I started drawing words and shapes on his shirt. He kissed my forehead and I fell asleep. I guess I was tired from the stress and worrying.
