Sandara Park -- Dara, to her family and close friends, is a 26-year old Marketing Representastive in SM Interactive Systems, an IT Company that provides IT Services for most of Seoul’s Business District. She just recently got the Job through the help of her now fiance, Lee Donghae, a Senior IT Specialist in the same company.
Sandara’s finding it hard to find the path where she want her career to lead. Ever since she graduated all she ever did is to follow her Donghae wherever he goes.
They met in a soiree party that was thrown by her cousin, Park Bom’s, loud, crazy, fluff ball ex boyfriend Kim Heechul.
Donghae is her first Boyfriend, whom has fallen for her the very first night they were introduced. After a few months of courtship, Dara decided to give in. She never looked back since then. She has become his tail. Wherever he goes, she follows. Whatever he does, she copies. His words are her undoing. If he said that she look better in conservative clothes, she’ll buy a wardrobe full of grandma clothes, if he asks her to be a pescatarian, she won’t touch any poultry meat at all, if he says that the only thing that she can do is to look at him to survive she’ll do it wholeheartedly. That’s how head-over-heels she is to him. Her friends opposes to her being a dummy girlfriend, but can’t do anything about it since their nags always fall in deaf ears.
She is far from being secure career-wise, sometimes she thinks that she will just become a full-time housewife to Donghae after they get married.
Speaking of getting married, she just got engaged a few months ago. Her happiness was through the roof though her friends think that the proposal is kinda outdated and lacks creativity. It sent Dara into fit of tears so they can’t actually say anything about it.
They are planning to get married as soon as they can, and with how precise Donghae is with his plans, he is now half way into the preparations.
It was supposed to be the girl’s responsibility to get into the details of the wedding, but since Dara has problems with making choices, she lets Donghae decide on their Wedding preparations.

It was the most basic and boring wedding, planned ever, but to Dara it makes sense, to her it was sensible and practical, to her it’s okay because Donghae says so.
Her Mother thinks that their relationship has turned into a toxic one, but can’t do anything about it since Donghae has done nothing that made her daughter cry. She was thankful that the man is taking care of his daughter well, but also wish that her daughter can have a breather, freedom, and experience life to it’s fullest before she commits herself into a life long relationship.
Dara came from a broken family, her Dad left them when Dara was in Middle School. She has 2 younger siblings Durami her younger sister and Sanghyun their maknae. Dara has been her Mother’s partner in raising both her siblings. While their mom works the regular 9-5 job as an Accountant in a Law Firm. Dara joggles studying and taking care of her siblings, from the food they’d eat in school, to supervising them with their Home Works, projects and making sure that they reviewed well for their exams. She’s an average student, she can excel if she puts work into it, but since her responsibility as a co-parent to her siblings always interferes with her studies, she don’t put much effort into it. She was happy that she graduated and got admitted into a University as a Marketing Management student. Her college life was as boring as her high school days. Her routine of getting up in the morning, preparing breakfast for herself, getting ready for school, walking towards the bus stop, once at school she just breezes through her classes like a zombie, the only thing she’d ever take a break is when going home, whenever she walks home with her friends, Bom, her cousin and one of her best friend, a Music Student in the same university she attends, the other 1/3 of the trio is 4-year their junior from the same middle school and high school, Chaerin, that they usually pick on the way from their previous school. Both girls are the chaos in her monotonous and mundane life. They put color into her face, with all their banters and their animated stories about boys and almost everything about how unfair it is to be a girl in Korea. They had to conform to whatever it is that the society asks them to, when all they want to be is to be treated as equal as the guys. Dara would only laugh at them, and sometimes join their banters, but most of the time she plays as a referee whenever they fight. That’s her escape. Her walk to her home was the most spontaneous thing she did her entire year in the university.
Now that she’s 26, she still is filled with routines. Her life is full of repetition. While her other 2 best friends are doing whatever they want whenever they want.
Park Bom graduated with a degree in music business management, and works in an Independent Music Label that is on the rise to popularity since its genre are mainly focused in hip-hop and RnB. She mainly handles administrative work for the label, she sometimes chips in some of her compositions and lends her voice as backups to their artists. She also is the one connected with mostly marketing firms in order to make proper branding of their label. She loves her job and won’t exchange it for anything in the world, especially with all the freedom that she is getting from their CEO, named Teddy Park, yes that Teddy Park, the producer/ compose/lyricist to the stars that started to venture into music on his own, The Black Label, the most promising Independent Hiphop Label in Seoul now, housing several popular artists that sweeps the charts whenever they release music. Bom loved working for him coz he encourages their creativity to flow, and he gives them the liberty to work on their own pace.
Lee Chaerin on the other hand, has just graduated a year ago and is now working under YG Branded an Entertainment Marketing Firm that handles Labels, artists and products to introduce to the masses using the web of links among them. Product Placement, Brand Integration, Promo and Licensing, Celeb Endorsements, Celeb appearances, and Social Influencers are some of the services they offer to their clients. Chaerin being a Graduate of Journalism she landed a job as a Brand Journalist/Social Media and Digital PR Specialist she mainly writes witty PR ads in social media and internet sites, a job she wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. She loved how her creative juices flows into writing, and it doesn’t even have to be as formal as the one she took during her internship in college. She basically posts something catchy on social media that can be a trend and can generate traffic into their client’s brand. It was easy and fun for her.

Kwon Jiyong – Ji to his friends, and Yongie to his parents and to the slew of his girl toys, whenever they baby him. A 22-yr old spoiled brat, maknae and the heir to the Multi Billion Dollar Group of Companies, YG Conglomerates Incorporated. It houses different businesses in almost all industries, Food and Food Services, Pharmaceutics and Biotechnology, Entertainment and Media, Home Shopping and Logistics, and even Telecommunications and Information Technology. They are the biggest rival of the SM Group of Companies that comprises almost the same industries into their roster.
Jiyong is your normal type of chaebol, he gets what he wants when he wants. He is born with a golden feeding bottle in his mouth literally and figuratively. He has an older sister named Dami, who is the total opposite from him. Responsible and very much of an organized person when it comes to her life. With an 8 years gap from Jiyong, Dami is way ahead in the game, she now holds several Industries in their Empire and is known to be an effective leader. Most would think that the 2 are distant from each other, they may be 8 years apart and completely poles away personality wise but they love each other like crazy. Dami gives whatever her brother wants and Jiyong does whatever his sister asks him to do. What’s not good about their partnership? It is when Jiyong brings the wicked side of his Noona. The good part? It’s when his Noona brings the intellectual out of him.
Being born in a family of businessman, Jiyong and Dami was trained to live in a Business world. At an early age, they were already given extra lessons about the industries their Empire hold, at an early age they were already expected to hold a great deal of responsibility to their Empire. They are the next generation of that will manipulate almost half of the Central Business District of South Korea. Yes half, because their biggest rival SM Group hold the other half of it, and it has been decades long that their clans have been fighting to outdo each other.
Jiyong has grown up with a very tightly knit family, unlike other chaebol families, theirs are very ideal, probably because his mom and dad wasn’t arranged to be married just to get the assets of the other family. His mother was just an ordinary employee way back, when his father saw her and fell for her. He persuaded her. It took him several years to capture her heart and when he did, he defied everything just to fight for their love. There were several bouts of disownment, but his father fought for his mother like a champ that they end up being together.
Ever since his father took over the Empire, he vowed that his kids will be free from arranged marriages and will be given the freedom to choose whoever they want. This freedom is very well abused by Jiyong himself. Dating is never even in his vocabulary, girls are like a commodity that he doesn’t need to procure. Girls are like free food in the supermarket on a Sunday, and he god dang takes advantage of it.
He and his friends all know how to fish for women, they were deadly in that department, and contrary to other people’s belief, his friends aren’t like him who’s born with a silver spoon in his mouth. All 4 of his friends are just normal kids who were born in a mediocre-earner family, well if you will compare their family to his.
Choi Seunghyun, 23 years old, the oldest in the group and is a son of the owner of the chains of World Class Art Galleries across South Korea. A grandchild of the National Artist Kim Whanki, Seunghyun naturally eased on to the Elite Art Society of Seoul just like his sister. The eccentric artist that he is, already completed several exhibit from when he was in Junior High School til he graduated with a degree in Fine Arts majoring in Architecture. His works ranges from quirky chairs to contemporary art pieces. He is now making his name as one of the rising Fine Artists of Seoul. Just like Jiyong, he loves girls and girls love him too, though more reserved compared to Ji, he still is known as one of the most sought after bachelor in his circle. Well all five of them are. He has been friends with Jiyong since they were in Middle School. If Youngbae is Jiyong’s best friend, Seunghyun is his partner in crime.
Dong Youngbae, 22, same-aged friend of Jiyong, his best friend, and the moral guide of their group. Among the five, he is the one who’s born in a normal family (according to the standards of the rich and the famous). His father is a Surgeon while his mother is a Ballet professor in Korea National University. He is well-mannered and polite, and unlike his best friend, he is not the one who’d go for sex like it’s some drive thru shit. He has been in a long-term relation ship with his high school sweetheart Hyorin an up and coming Actress that is now trying to make her name known in the Entertainment Industry. They have been together for years and both are planning to move-in together as soon as Youngbae finishes in setting up his Restaurant, yes he is a Chef, a rookie one that decided to venture on the business with the help of his friends. A few months more and he will be running his very own business.
Kang Daesung, 21 years old, 2nd to the youngest among the five. He is a Graduating Student of Korea National University gearing up for a Degree in Music Majoring in Music Technology. The maknae in the family who’s business is entangled with the Kwons. The Kang Holdings Ltd. is a subsidiary company to the YG Conglomerates Inc., a manufacturer of RTW garments and apparels that is mostly distributed to major department store brands seen in the market, it is one of the biggest earners in the list of subsidiary companies under the Kwon’s, and Daesung doesn’t want any of it. All he wanted is for him be a record producer. Start his own label and produce songs for artists. He doesn’t want the limelight, all he wants is to create music. Daesung gained a monicker of “Mr. Killer Smile” from his friends due to his eye smile and a very quiet personality. If Youngbae is the moral anchor of the group, Daesung is the hidden gem when it comes to girls. He is a silent killer. Unlike the 2 Seunghyuns and Jiyong, he bags women silently. He does the job with precision that even his Hyungs can’t notice.
We can’t leave behind the maknae of the group, the rowdiest and the most cunning. 20 year old Casanova. He is the son of the Lee Foods Incorporated, another subsidiary company of the Kwon Empire. The kid is currently taking up Business Administration majoring in Operational Management. Just like his 2 casanovic Hyungs, he too is very fond of them ladies. Gettin lad is like air to him, and he’s not quite shy about it. He calss himself young Heff, coz he likes em girls voluptuous. He is the one that convinced Youngbae into venturing in the restaurant business. With the help of his other hyungs they are planning on having him launch his first franchise. He himself already owns a 12-Chain Ramen Shop, a booming business that started wih just a bet between him and Jiyong, it has now flourished into a chain thanks to proper branding and of course good food. Seungri, his Hyungs call him Seungri, well, because he is that motherfucker that wins in everything he dips his hands into, he has that Midas touch, he never lose, probably because he is god dang persistent too. His weakness? Well, his weakness s his over confidence, it is his kryptonite as much as it is his strength. It almost broke him almost a few hundred times, good thing his hyungs are there to catch his fall.
Jiyong after graduating with a Degree in Business Management major in Marketing was given the task to handle the newest venture of their Empire, a Marketing Firm. He basically coined the idea. He is thinking of ways on how to abuse all the connections he and his friends got through the years of fuckin around. Yes they collected a sizable amount of contacts from being promiscuous, well count Youngbae out coz he’s a loyal boyfriend. Except for the existing connections that they already have being born in a very well-off families, the number of idols, actresses, producers, stylists, trainees and models that they all pounded resulted into a web of links that he thought he could use to his advantage in starting his very own firm. His genius idea plus his knowldge on exploiting several medias in the internet gave him an edge. He didn’t have to sweat to convince his father in allowing him into making his idea into reality. His father is a risk-taker like him, and he loved Jiyong’s presentation to him one night while they were drinking, well his father gave him a go signal and immediately ordered his people to arrange the new venture. YG Branded is now running for a year, and truth be told it has been very successful. The PR company was already an existent firm in YG’s roster of firms but just became more prolific the moment the young boss revolutionized it.
Jiyong is a corporate Rockstar, he rarely wears the boring suit and tie to work, he also made sure that his employees dress free, for him individuality is key. He is doing good as it is, but there are several skeletons he’s keeping in his closet that will surely bust his jam. One of which is he’s becoming a father, at 22. The kicker? The baby momma is the daughter of their business nemesis.
